a couple of first You guys hitting the 100K for subscribers quite the feat and I've followed your channel for all most a year and you cinematography is simply Top Notch your honing your skill ...truly grateful Txs...
This episode was amazing. It shows all of the reasons I want this lifestyle without even talking about it. I'm quickly working my way through your whole playlist. I am a huge fan of your mantra and the way you look at the world. Thanks for bringing the adventure to my screen in such a vivid and beautiful way.
There is something about these last few episodes that really highlighted how awesome your shooting and editing skills are. I don't know if it's the addition of b-roll (the rain), or what, but for some reason I feel these last few episodes have shown you are on a different level now.
Kika and Dan, You should put together a slide show of the sunsets and sunrises that you see. Would love to see the most unusual ones. Sitting on the beach with the fire, you two had the best dinner and a movie of the week. Take care, gentle winds and smooth seas to you both.
I discover you guys while watching Sailing with Zatara and absolutely love how you guys do your videos it is literally like watching a commercially produces sitcom. Love what you do keep it up. Wish I didn’t find you guys so late but I found you non the less.
That was one very pretty sunset at 2:55 - mesmerizing... Forget the axe or machete for cutting wood. Get a good collapsible wood saw they dudes that do all the bush craft camping use - compact and super efficient. What a beautiful place Current Island! What a beautiful ending, beautiful sunset, amazing food, and being with an awesome person. Thanks for sharing - it was awesome!
Ahoy Uma you 2 just made my day. Why? 'Cause you took through memory lane. In 1976- 1978. I was stationed at NavFac Eleuthera with the US Navy, was 22 yrs old. Greatest time of my life. Thank you, thank you. Fair winds mates.
What ae perfect movie, this is real an Oscar stuff ...so delicious like your food ..please go on so pretty well..long time visitors knew about your works on the boat stay tuned .greetz from south germany
..... well done on the 100,000 .... great step .... all to yourselves, excellent, ..... laughing, good you had the camera running for the outtake, and Dan's, I would have come for you ..... everyone knows how capable Kikka is as does Dan, but he was a blink away from being in the the water, we all know this .... smilin ..... thx again .... have fun be safe, save our oceans ......
Thank you for bringing a little piece of paradise for me to look at while I’m Looking out at my snow/ ice covered yard. Thanks for bringing a smile to my tired soul.
Hi, these are some great episodes. I'm so glad you're able to enjoy my Heaven on Earth of Eleuthera. I grew up in Hatchet Bay Eleuthera with my Grandparents and Cousins. This place is my total disconnect for the outside world of Florida and even sometimes Nassau when I go visit my Parents. Hatchet Bay is also known as Alice Town, with the worlds safes harbor. Venture on down to Down-Seaside, which is a 10 minute walk from the harbor and you'll see the beach I learned to swim, fish, dive and conquer my fears of jumping off the little cliffs into the water. Black Sales is my favorite pirate originals.
Way late to the party, been binge-watching for about a week & still over a year of steps to catch up. I spent a week on Spanish Wells many years ago and it was a sailor's paradise even then. It is a lovely spot to explore and the water was so clear, there is a reef about 100 yards offshore with about 3-10 feet of water until you reach the reef, then it plunges to about 50 feet. Tons of large grouper, conch, and too many lobsters to count. We spent so much time snorkeling I managed to get my entire back and legs cooked to a ripe shade of purple! LOL It made the plane ride home pretty intense since it hurt to sit in the little seats of the little Cessna we were using. One great thing we learned there was a really easy way to get conch out of the shell. Rinse in some water to get the sandy bits off, then stick them in the freezer for several hours, then the foot will be mostly sticking out, hang them from a line, and as they thaw out the entire shell just slides right off. Since there's no banging or hacking into the shell, the conch itself doesn't tense up and is more tender and requires less work to process. Plus you have a really pretty and intact shell to use for display. I just want to say how much I'm enjoying all your videos, even the ones about all the tech and mechanical upgrades and repairs, which surprises me since my brain has a tendency to take a vacation when those kinds of things are discussed. You both make it so interesting I find myself absorbed in the processes.
Guys this is literally everything I am working towards. This exact experience. I would spend months here. And no garbage would be left by the time I left. Make better the place you visited than when you arrived.
Beautiful and I am not just talking about Kika 😁 Greatly appreciated in the middle of a cold Canadian winter watching your vids is a great way to warm up! Cheers
I see that 17 people gave this video a thumbs down at the time I watched. What kind of evil world do they live in? I personally enjoyed watching. Good job guys.
Hey Lagoon, Fountaine-Pajot, Sunreef, Leopard, Catana, Balance, Privilege, HH, Seawind, etc..., You are letting Outremer show YOU all up! Offer UMA a new Cat!!!!!
Thanks for another great video! I just wanted to drop a note about a new TH-camr, Dustin Reynolds. Major props to him, because he is a solo sailor, but especially because he is a double amputee! He was hit by a drunk driver and lost an arm and a leg. He set out five years ago to be the first double amputee to circumnavigate the globe., and he’s managed to make it halfway! He has less than 200 subscribers and could use the support for better safety equipment on his boat.i wanted to share this information with you, because I thought you would find it interesting. Much love to y’all and hope y’all are happy and well! ❤️
Great video. I have been watching you from time to time and every time I come back I wonder why I took a break from watching . You guys are a cute couple and I love how you re-engineer every thing that you repair or build. Keep up the great work and sail on.
been binge watching your channel! We love your channel, your interaction, your narrative, your photographic skills, music selection, we feel like we're right there with you guys! thank you for sharing your adventures!!
No, it certainly does not get any better. Great time lapse and underwater shots. My view right now: skyline Montreal with snow... sigh. cheers, and keep it coming.
I feel I just went on a mini holiday! Just laying on my couch. Thank you guys So much for this realy great episode! What a fantastic sunrise and sunset! Oh and Yes I own a couch, haha! Fair wind from Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Ben/Tika that was a lovely evening; thanks for sharing. One suggestion be careful of using grates out of refrigerators unless you are sure they are solid stainless steel. Refrigerators and freezers often use a plated shelf that can exude gases and chemical when subjected to fire. cheers.
Hey guys. I took a cruise on the Norwegian Epic a few years ago. It's a big ship holding over 4000 guests. That was my first cruise. I first went to The Bahamas in 1982 and I went to Andros Island. The snorkeling there was beautiful. Clear, blue water. Hope you don't catch a cold Kika.
Your footage was absolutely SPECTACULAR! The colors are so crisp. Can't wait to see the next episode. PS... that dinner looked so good. Never thought for putting sweet potato as a veggie, but I'm definitely going to try it. Safe sails.
WooHoo! 100K! Congratulations! Your sailing, video and editing skills have grown exponentially. I really liked the time lapse of the fire shrinking being rebuilt with the sunset Awesome! : )
You make me think back to when I spent *3 month's on a tuna boat* out on the Blue, BLUE WATER WOW !!and all the stars at night sooooo beautiful, JUST TO MUCH DRAMA ON FISHING BOATS , was first and last time, out on the deep blue sea , *thanks for beautiful videos*

That's my ship! Yes we did come from Nassau. You have the best sunrises and best sunsets. What a great life. Safe travel you two.

Couldn't agree more!!
Yeah, thumbs up too ! But, hey, they are both talented artists !

That time lapse of the fire pit though!!
Crazy good cinematography
You are right, life couldn't be any better than that!

cool episode. We loved the Bahamas a lot... I bet we passed on the same fridge ;-) If you are still around the Bahamas. Don't miss Withe Cay.
