Hey Ryan, I remember you from the Q-500 days. :) I just ordered my 22S Drag Camaro. Such a beautiful looking model. This old man remembers '69 Camaro's from when they were new on dealer showroom floors. :)
I made one battery's worth of passes before I started modifying mine. Biggest help is changing the rear suspension geometry and using better tires. I'm building a zero degree bulkhead right now that in theory will help even more

I love my Losi drag car. Picked it up the day it was released. Just have one problem. On launch it hooks hard left and flips over. I have changed the shocks and that is it. Help please. I love this drag car. Thank you in advance.

These are very nice, hands above the DR10. My RTR runs 2.65 with just a pinion change. I built my roller with a rotor Ron set up and sub 2.5 on first passes. All I’ve done to my cars is change the shocks to adjustable. I use front GTR shocks for a slash with some spacers and that’s all this car needs. That and a a flat wheelie bar.
You think Traxxas will have a “behind the innovation” type video? I really doubt it, because I don’t think the Drag Slash is competitive and I bet Traxxas knows that too
I will say mine is fast on 2s and controlled. Consistent 2.8’s but the tires are a joke here in Florida. Pizza cutters don’t work. Reactions are excellent for straight fast hits
Moral of their whole story.....losi drag car better than Traxxas drag car. But I think both are damn good choices. Plus the associated choice...... Having more options for an RTR to get started in this is awesome.
@@paulclancy2404 my dogs named Traxxas. That's a joke but I noticed Losi rtr's are not bad but, a bit on the cheaper side it seems....But tlr losi's are awesome. TLR is the hi end while losi rtr is a bit less. From what I've seen.

I'm not a dog person so my famiky way being thankful I got them a dog , they tried to getting another offering to name traxxas or arrma lol
I'm 68 and I still like rc cars and have since 20 years now just give us the parts we need to keep our cars going I can't get hop up parts or regular parts help us out please 😢😮😮😮
This is all cool, but what I don't get is why didn't ya'll make a new full frame street/strip muscle car style vehicle instead of modifying basically a mountain goat chassis?
Idk if “killing the hobby” is the right way to put it. At the end of the day, the bean counters have a business to run and indeed if it’s too niche, it won’t sell. They have to recover development costs somehow. This car wouldn’t have exists if drag racing stayed niche. They were wrong, they just didn’t anticipate the growth of the no-prep scene.

Thats true for products in general, but horizon discontinued alot losi products and most rc people keep there rcs , ofcourse because a new product may sell better and be more for new hobbiest , what about the people that already spent alot money. Does ford stop making parts for cars ? Just because they discontinued older ones ? If losi wasn't under horizon the products still be made . Being a big co. More a reason to not have to only do whats the most profitable even if screws over all that already invested . Don't tell me that camaro woukdnt sold even no prep didn't get big, just wouldn't compare to the newbies buying what offers the most all around drivability

I just got my 22c , only issue so far is the passenger drive shaft hits the clutch cover during launch.

What pinion and tires to get 2.6’s? Have you adjusted esc?
