Project I.G.I. is a tactical first-person shooter video game developed by Innerloop Studios and released in December 2000 by Eidos Interactive. This video shows complete gameplay guide of igi 1. for some reason, this game is locked at 30fps and i don't think there's a way to change it. Just 2 hours?! OMG, this game took me days and months! IGI has some magic inside, you love it and hate it at the same time, you play it again and again and it annoyed you same way) But after many many years, when you hear about this game or watch it online, you just feel nostalgic, remember good childhood times, when you played it before and after school and those good old times at all. Great music, good plot and action, difficult and sometimes even a little bit scary.

I did a speedrun of this in 2hr 46 minutes. Still hold the record amongst my friends. Won a dairy milk back for that in my school days😂
I was decided to become the game developer after playing this memorable game and now after 8 years, I am game developer, thanks to all the developer team of IGI to give us such a realistic game experience

The best thing about this entire game is that, it can easily be the best memorable that'll be in your memory for years. The typing keyboard animation is kinda funny, but it stayed in my memories for years. This truly is the best childhood game out there.

This reminds me of the days of 2005 coming back from school at noon starting the Pc was always on top priority with windows xp startup sounds opening this game and playing hours trying to get through one level without changing the school uniform . Good old days when developers focused more on game enjoyblity not on some crazy graphics details .

Ridiculously hard but ridiculously fun. I loved every moment of Project IGI and IGI 2. Sadly IGi 3 never came. I heard they're making it but who knows when it will release. On Steam.

Can never forget that eerie background music. It was a tough and wonderful game, reminds me of my nerdy college days. Feeling very nostalgic.
I played it on of my known's PC back in 2004-5, then I downloaded in my PC but my PC could not handle this masterpiece, eventually upgraded to PC in 2012, coupd never play Igi or Igi2, because I didn't have time during my college days. Today, I am going to download this again!!! Let me relieve what I missed in childhood.

The last mission soundtrack stayed in my head since i've heard it, when I was around 4 or 5 and watching my brother play, even nowadays when i play any infiltration game it still plays mecanically in my brain, easily the best fitting soundtrack for this kind of game, it really has a Cold War feeling to it.

This game was one of the games i have played in my childhood and I’m now 18. It was hard for me to beat this game. I can remember getting help from my dad to beat it. It is one of the best games I’v ever played and it has a special place in my heart.

I played this game when I was a kid. I've been trying to remember the name for a such a long time until i figured it had something to do with the word 'project' and I found it 😭😭😭. This was my childhood and am so grateful others loved this as much as I did. 😊

I remember a key "feature" or selling point of this game was it's insanely long - basically infinite - draw distances. I think I even challenged it one time by running outside of a base perimeter, along the hills, for about a straight 30 minutes and finding no end to it.
Like that background at 35:46 isn't some 2D background - it's real terrain you could reach and run on which was rare for games of this era.

It was 1.30 AM and I was about go to sleep cuz have ceremony at office early in the morning then and this video got in my feed, even after knowing the length of the video I still decided to watch it and sacrifice my sleep.. That's how much I love this game..❤️
The computer hacking, destroying cameras, alarms, sniping half the map early to clear path.. and the music I tell you is just wow.. Although I remember me doing things very differently back then but this still hit the nostalgia pretty hard and took me back to much simpler and happy times.. I used to play this game in 2006-07 when I was in class 6th. Now when I look back it gives me tears that how fast time has passed by. Life became so difficult after I left this game. Really miss this a lot. Will always stay in my heart forever. I wish maybe one day i will get a job, be happy again and will play this game in future when my financial condition will be good. @@niceguy6831 IGI 2 - Covert Strike is not only graphically superior, but strategically and environmentally, too. The developers have payed heed to the most intricate details in particular regions and their culture(s), they surely did a very good job in production and enhancement of the same.

This game actually took some skill. I remember trying to play thru in 99 2000 as a teen. This was one of the first actual strategy fps games. You really needed to make a gameplan to make it thru these levels or youd die. Memories.
This is the game that made me buy my first proper PC after playing it briefly at my mates house 20 years ago. Makes me so emotional replaying the game now, in 2021!

When i was too young did not had a PC i had to watch this game at a neighbor's house. Was so interested to even watch it. Later got a new PC and was able to enjoy playing this game. I used to play more better than the neighbor person. I was addicted to this and required so much patience and concentration to complete the missions. Later completed with IGI 2 as well. Missing those old days now❤️
