IGI 2: Covert Strike was released back in the year 2003. The game is fps and stealth with total 19 missions at different locations like russia, libya, china, etc. The main protagonist of the game is david jones. The game is sequel to igi 1 which was released 2 years ago. In my opinion. this game is harder than igi 1. Stealth is kinda broken and it feels like the enemies have aimbot XD. I think that igi 1 was far more better than igi 2 in terms of gameplay and stealth. Anyways, this video shows complete gameplay guide of igi 2. NOSTALGICCCCCCCCCC!!!!!! I remember playing so stealthy that it takes me hours or sometimes days to finish the mission, obviously after dying a bunch. You made it look so easy but I love the game.

Those days all games were actually difficult because if you lose health, you had to use health pack or eat food etc. If you can't refill health means it's hard to finish the level. Now all it takes is hide for few seconds and health replenishes automatically.

Its still one of the best shooters i've ever had. I walk throgh the game from time to time and it always give emotions. There is no such games now, unfortunately(

Exactly just like me, i was 12 when we finally got a 128mb gpu , our 1st gpu was 64mb and a cousin gifted us the igi 2, we waited some yrs until my brother got the 128mb gpu, 1st thing we did was to install igi 2, and i only watched my brother play..

Throughout my childhood I was crossing the bridge directly and I didn't even knew I can just hop on that machine.
I am going to grade 10th this year just in a few days after the final exams but still I play it after coming back from school before preparing for the exam next day I swear to god nothing can stop me from playing my heart attack giving game I don't care what others say I just know one thing this generation kiddos will never understand how important this game was for us back then in 2000 I started playing it when I was 7 or 8 years old and I still remember that I was playing the "Get Preboi" mission I almost finished the mission but my health was extremely low and I heard a guard saying "Hey you!!" And my heart stopped beating when he shot me with his Splash 20 I seriously jumped out of my bed and heart my leg really badly just because of that stupid guard...I remember one more thing that in IGI 2 I was stuck on the same "Air Strike" mission from like a month but finally completed the mission on the Sunday Morning with my father....those days were amazing life was so good then...just waiting to the IGI 3 Origins...😅😆
I played this game many years ago. I was David Jones in every 19 missions. So many memories man.😢😢
I remember this Air Strike Mission, it was this mission in which I was stuck so long. It was very hard for me to finish this mission. And as far as I remember after this mission there was a Temple mission in which Jones was given a Sniper Rifle with a Thermal Scope. I loved that particular mission.

I got stuck on that mission too. But after a year or two I started watching the cutscenes(previously I used to just skip those cutscenes) and while watching the cutscenes of Air strike mission in the starting it clearly mentions what exactly you need to do lol.
Temple mission is awesome too. I finished some of the enemies by using infra red gun from outside. Then to save amo, crawling like snake to take out those guards on the front balcony by breaking their neck and then took out every one inside. The second gate I eliminated the the guard by first throw granade then open the gate and hide behind it. Let them come in and shot them from behind. Hardest mission for me was final of the Lab mission with that old chinesse boss and His though guards

I used to listen to this game from 2006/07, and I started playing from 2013/14 to 2017, because this time I got my personal computer and bought it myself. I don't know how many times I have played the game. I still remember talking about this game, now I'm learning Call of Duty, Battlefield, Middle of Honor, PUBJI game, but from IGI 1 and 2 shooter games, and since then I became a commando lover, I find Russia / Ukraine involvement in the game. Many things. Now I like Air Strike, Sniper games ... Battle Ground type multiplayer online games. Yet this IGI game is not forgettable.
I may be a 2004 kid but this game is nostalgic to me. When I was 6 I watched my mom and dad play it on our computer. They would sit there for hours. Wouldn’t let me watch because I was “too young” but I did anyway, sneakily. All these years later I decided to find it and bought it and surprised my mom with it. Now we play together from the same GOG account :) my dad gave up on the first mission tho hahah

Man I aint a 90's kid but Igi 2 is the best game ive played. My dad got it in the Pc and we used to play it together. He died in 2017 and man i miss him. The pc is no more and i havent got a new one since so im out here watching a walkthrough. Those were the days man

This was an awesome game for a 2003 release, I'm surprised it never made it to consoles.
It's just a game n all but you'd think if ANY of those cameras were to short circuit that would trigger a silent alarm via relay as well as trigger a flood light or a strobe to alert the campus.

A tip to all those who might wanna play this game(again);
If there are stacks of enemies running at you,find some bushes and hide in them
They won't be able to see u and you can shoot them 1 by 1
Exactly, I have done this multiple times in Mission 7 Border crossing but I would likely miss some shots only if they ran sideways.
@@irishredcoat6825 border crossing is probably the best mission to apply this method in cause it has a lot of dense bushes....

The enemy once alerted to your presence which is easy to do in this game and possibly a mission fail are relentless and seek you out in large numbers checking every nook and cranny until they have you or you run out of ammo.

Interesting. In a mission where you need to steal helicopter - you just ran from it and waited for two minutes. While in my version of game when you tried this approach it gave message, that bad guys disabled the pump, so you had to engage them anyways
Apparently he placed mines on a few spots so probably it killed all of the approaching enemies.
