    Great tutorial on how to paint Germans, could you do a tutorial on the new US winter paratroopers that just came out?

      I'm planning on converting them first using this kit so once I've done that I will certainly do a painting guide for them as well.

    Love your channel. You inspire me to improve! I've seen you review some of the warlord Napoleonic figures a while ago but you have never painted them. Any chance you could paint some Napoleonic infantry at some point? Late French or British Foot?

      It's an era that I've never really explored in any great detail so while it probably won't covered anytime soon, there always the possibility.

    Any chance of redoing the German Infantry video to make it more “accurate?” Or would you recommend just taking these colors over to that?

    Love the video! Excellent job as always. Just a friendly nudge, though; when you say 'Dark Tone', the image that pops up is 'Strong Tone'. Which is the correct ink?

    • @PeteTheWargamer
      @PeteTheWargamer  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good spot, it's Dark Tone. As a general rule of thumb, go by what I've said, not what image I put on the screen :P

    Any chance you'll be doing a video on any of the new Idoneth Deepkin?

      Possibly, although if I did I would want to explore a different angle to them...

    Idea: go to goodwill and buy random figures, then paint them and completely transform them.

    Hey dude, what anti shine Matt varnish did you use? Currently I use GW’s Munitorum varnish but that leave a shiny sort of finish in places

    • @HeadHunterSix
      @HeadHunterSix 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's an Army Painter product, literally called "Anti Shine Matt Varnish". Be sure to shake it VERY well, or it becomes "Shine" varnish.

    • @wolowizard4441
      @wolowizard4441 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HeadHunterSix Oh I have that one!! I've used a few different cans from army painter and I find that they've varied. I used army green and shook it for literally 5 minutes straight, and it was coming out really thick and didn't get into the recesses of this tank. I used it again a few months later for some infantry and it worked a dream, so I'm a bit nervous to use the army painter varnish

    could those bodies be used to make valhalans for 40k?

    • @HeadHunterSix
      @HeadHunterSix 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They're kind of small in comparison to 40k minis, IMO.

    tips on painting white?

    • @PeteTheWargamer
      @PeteTheWargamer  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lots of thin layers. Build things up slowly and you shouldn't have a problem with paint streaks.

    19 colours...you're clearly just advertising the paint.. Any beginners out there, you do not need all these paints. experiment with mixing. Trying to get people to buy more then they need and asking for money also. TH-cam is ruined.

    • @HeadHunterSix
      @HeadHunterSix 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      LOL - if you think most painters don't already have dozens of colors you're fooling yourself. I can do most of these models in 6 to 8 colors without mixing but this isn't unreasonable.
      I tried to check your channel to see how your work looks, but much like your comment, it has no useful content,
