Love Lucia Popp so much. I know it's just film scenes, but I still have a sad feeling. I wouldn't like to see such a good lady be treated as so, even just in film. She is a jewel.
It seems that Lucia would make a good actor, though it's lucky for us that she chose singing. I read a book about Janošik when I was young but then I lost it and I don't remember much, except that at the end he was captured (and killed I suppose).
@@BazzasBest Hi there...as a Slovak I can tell, that for me personally is hard to undedrstand Slovenian ,Polish,...and other Slavic langs. But tell ya one thing....Lucia speaks here really proper Slovak(we have many dialects, and the funny thing is, she was born in the part of Slovakia, where people speak almost Czech..... and us Slovaks, we are veeeery accent sensitive).
Hola Jorge,a Lucia la descubrí hace años.Me llamó poderosamente la atención su voz dulce, luego he seguido todo lo relacionado con ella.Y la expresión de su rostro me parece de una ternura infinita.Un abrazo desde España.
Here are information about the film www.imdb.com/title/tt0239515/reference and here for the hero en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juraj_J%C3%A1no%C5%A1%C3%ADk Unfortunately, I haven't seen it. Thanks, dear Barry.

and of course, no lady should be treated as so.
Thank you for that treat! BazzaBest
one of the best slovak movies..
Hello Barry, thanks for nice uploading the movie of Lucia Pipp , though I can't understand what they speak.
The language is Slovak and the title is Janoshik a person who was a rebel like Robin Hood. Film is from 1962.
Many thanks for this information Dobri.
And unlike Robin Hood, Jánošík was undoubtedly a real person.

Janja, is there much similarity between the Slovenian and Slovakian languages? Can a Slovenian person understand much or any of this?
I can understand a word here and there, but I can't really follow the talking. Probably I'd understand a written text a little more.
