- If home is where the heart is, then home is the perfect place to celebrate Valentine's Day. Host Ruth McKeaney creates a home cooked meal for her husband Bob. Married for over 25 years, Ruth and Bob built a successful business and raised five children together. Now two of their children step up to help serve a Valentine's Day dinner for their parents at Hillside Farm.

this is so heartwarming. i absolutely love the story about the older couple that first helped her and her husband celebrate valentines day. what an beautiful story. i resonate so much with what she's saying - that nowadays people don't even think about the concept of hospitality and creating a loving welcoming culture in their home - not just for family, but for their friends and community as well. so inspiring and i'm so glad she's going to be on homeworthy even more!!!

I spent this Valentines Day in the hospital getting my first breast cancer surgery, so we just lost out of this one. Second surgery next week, just a few days before Easter. Hope I will be able to do a simple Easter Sunday brunch, we will see.

What a wonderful video. The dinner looks delicious and you make it seem easily manageable. Looking forward to your book. But Ruth, if Bob is trying to get in "shape" for the wedding, I'm not sure this was lower calorie than a filet and sides would have been!
