@Doogie Carpit Burger I agree, but that doesn't exclude fighting on the inside. If Wilder is the smaller fighter and needs range to generate his power shots, it only makes sense for Fury to put his weight on him, and box from the inside.
@Doogie Carpit Burger I don't see why it would have to be staged.. Wilder and Fury are already making enough as it is. And going off the first fight, and what I know of the athletes (especially Fury), this would be the last fight to be fixed.
@Doogie Carpit Burger You should watch the testimony of Sammy the Bull Gravano where he explained why it doesn't make a great deal of sense to fix the outcome of fights anymore, and how there's enough money to be made in everything that goes into the buildup, and the purses they take home. Everybody's already getting rich as it is.

Deontay got hurt by that punch in the back of the head. Tyson fury is a great boxer. Wilder has a lot of heart. He will come back. If I was his manager I would let him fight a couple of fights to get his confidence back and then go for the rematch. You gotta build his confidence back. The weight definitely had an effect. Fury was smothering him. Deontay has to bulk up for the next fight.
231 is the heaviest Wilder has ever been in his career. Even his team didn’t expect that. They expected him to come in around 223. Joe Tessitore was saying during coverage of the Weigh-In that if Fury kept his word and came in around 270 like he did, that it was gonna be a fight. There’s only 5 words you need to use to preview this properly and here are those 5 words.

Wilder has been wobbled by Beazeale by a slapping desperate swing...wobbled by Ortiz in first fight who hardly landed on him apart from that and the referee gave him big delay rest and he was wobbled by Fury a few times with not much...Big punchers like Joshua, Ruiz and Dubois would certainly stop him if they land...And Fury might too now as he has probably improved power a little and he is big enough anyway. The weight is irrelevant...as the nature of his power is muscle tense and leverage, fast follow through...he is also solely focussed on trying to knock people out with a single straight punch, whereas no other fighters just concentrate on that, so partly explains his record.
