Don't think he ever drove a Explorer for any distance. The paddle shifters work in automatic. It's the most comfortable car I even driven. 5500 miles in a week was a dream

Yesterday, 01/03/23, I test drove a 2016 Explorer XLT. It has just over 100k miles. Someone told me that the Ford 3.5 motors are notorious for bad water pumps. If I move forward with the purchase, how many more miles could I drive before I could expect to have to replace the water pump?

I am planning to buy ford explorer 2016, but I have a serious concern ( the exhaust leak in the cabin with high rpm and on AC ) which was appears in the models from 2011 to 2016 and food did nothing about it.
Is this issue resolved in 2016?! Any one can tell us?!!

The instrument cluster is disappointing. Not even a tach. Would rather have gauges than idiot lights. the rest looks pretty good
It has a tach on the left lcd screen and temp gauge along with 4wheel air pressure sensors.
+walkaf1 don't know how I missed that thank you love having all the gauges
+Bondo "h" and "c" is hardly a gauge. lol. But better than nothing I suppose! 👍

There is! It's the USB in the front. It doesn't use auxiliary, it uses lightning, micro USB, or whatever cable you use to charge your phone
