Miller discs and Krause chisel plows were top-of-the-line equipment in the seventies and eighties. Spent untold hours of my youth dragging those through red clay fields in northern Oklahoma, behind a Case 1175. They're pretty much obsolete in my neck of the woods thanks to the adoption of no-till farming. But on farms where that hasn't taken hold, I'm sure they'd be just as effective now as they were when new.
I hope you're doing well C-Dave, after your previous video I've been thinking about you. Hopefully everything works out. I love your videos but I do like these equipment videos. Gives me perspective about the current value of things. My Dad has an old John Deere rake that looks a lot like that with steel wheels. We used to use it but now it has been retired to the front yard with a mix of flowers around it.
Dave I do hope you can see your way clear to keep the videos up and running. Even though I have no way to get to your place I do like your content as well as my Dad! Take care, take time sometimes and telax! Thanks, Shawn!
I paid $3000 for a case2470 with blown engine all broken glass bald tires took me 2 1/2 years get it field ready was a strong tractor but burned 100 gallons diesel every 12hrs at a time when corn was $1 bushel
You need to think a little bit out of the box. There's a lot of other things that sell fast. That trailer that sold for 125.00 Those old chevy trucks are GOLD ! You buy one of those that cheap and you could make a quick grand on it. I know people that think nothing of driving from Ohio to grab something like that. And on a trailer it's too easy to go get. Thanks for the videos. Very seldom miss one.
Stuff goes pretty cheap out there that 200 will probably bring between 75 and 9,000 and the John Deere would bring at least somewhere between 15 and 20 where I live
I love your videos and look forward to each one.I have no way of tactfully covering my next comment so.....................When filming and walking with the camera, it would be great if the microphone were uni-directional facing forward rather than a 360 degree omnidirectional type. That way we could still hear any commentary made by you and others and background sounds like your breathing would be much lower. Like you, I am no Olympic track star and I sound no different when walking longer distances so my rate and depth of breathing tends to be rather difficult. My wife and her friend just happened to be watching when I played this video and they both left the room because they said listening to someone breathe deeply went through them? I never even noticed until they said something and now it is all I hear when I watch? Please forgive me if I have stepped out of bounds here but I'm sure you want your channel to be the biggest one and one less reason for people to complain and click away?
@@tractorsold1 never seen the option for live pto and really the high neutral low dosent do much when it comes to backing up a brush hog and going forward.
@@rugerfarming5387 We had a 190 without the option, and a 190XT with. 200 is listed as optional. I think you can shift with the range in neutral, but I haven't tried it. Certainly a shuttle shift would easier for loader and brush hogging operations, but Allis only did that for industrial tractors.
They were nearly giving things away! Every damn Auction I go to here, even the junk brings stupid too much money. Did that auction co even advertise? Sure weren't many interested people there.
That's because he doesn't pick the stuff up his crew comes in later and picks it up he just marks it with his spray paint and they come in and pick it up later on
Looked like no one was interested in a bargain. I don't need another tractor, but I would have give double on that John Deere, just because it was way under priced.
crazy d it has been a while since i saw one of your videos. your breathing sounds very laborored. if it is a medival condition that can not be treated then i will shut up. i hate to lose someone like you because you did not seek medical help. sorry i dont want mrrs d have to bury some day sooon. i whould rateher do it much later. yet id it is in your dna and it can not bee helped so me it. health challenges are things you should not mess with a concerned friend who wushes you the best life that you can live. god made you special in the used tractor business
Thanks for actually covering the sale. Love watching equipment sell
Thanks for videoing this . Showing that There is cheap equipment out there.

Thanks Dave for the video. Hope all is well for you. You have my support and thanks for all you do. Northwest Wisconsin is where I am from.

You better keep the videos coming.

It's amazing the money a person can dump into a bad tractor. Especially if you have to put tires on it, that's insanity in itself.

Doc will probably crown you if you buy that Case Backhoe lol😅!!
Where I live, , there would have been 10 people bidding on the 4630 and it would have been overr 20k. Kinda jealous of all that dry dirt.
That was a nice Allis Chalmers 200
Another good video CD
The line is a country mile! Need a golf cart to get one end to the other!
O look it's that guy with the spray paint can at another auction, he's been on a few of your videos now!😄
Going to have to head out to the Midwest stuff is selling for ridiculously low money.
Stuff goes pretty cheap out there that 200 will probably bring between 75 and 9,000 and the John Deere would bring at least somewhere between 15 and 20 where I live
Hope you don't give up on the videos!!
Why didn't you buy the AC 200 wouldn't a power wash and fluid change make it a 4495 tractor on the lot ? ( I'd think it would bring 3900 at least?)
Somebody could haul that 4630 east and double their money.
Both of the sprayers went cheap!
Man all that stuff went cheap

I love the 200 wish they had live pto. Love mine.
It was an option on the 200. But shifting the range lever to neutral, instead of using the foot clutch, has a simmilar affect.

@@tractorsold1 yeah you cant shift it in neutral and put in reverse without grinding. I ve tried several times. Neutral on the high low selector.
that auction looked like my neighbors auction. hardly any one there

Good Looking Allis 200!
That Auctioneer is terrible sounds like his first auction😂
Guy with paint can was local scrapper i take?
They had plenty of acreage there they didn't have to put everything so close together!!
You mean Geuda Springs?
Actually I think you might be right Gouda
24 items & 14 bidders & guy still has to spray paint stuff? Can’t remember the 2 or 3 things purchased?
That's because he doesn't pick the stuff up his crew comes in later and picks it up he just marks it with his spray paint and they come in and pick it up later on

That's ridiculous for making a LONG LINE and not making 2 or 3 shorter lines. That's what I would've done. Not too bad of equipment there.
Man, that rogator way cheap
Stuff went cheap seller took a loss
