Love your work you are a true professional. Everything you do always looks neat and tidy from your canopy setup to now this. .
Excellent product, well done.
Great product 👍👍
I have just purchased a DC hub and now am wondering if I also need a relay hub or if only a relay hub might be needed,,,,
When is the video coming to connect this with the DC hub?
@ready to drive anywhere , Love your products. Been using the EGON DC Hub in my troopy build in the states. But now building a single cab truck and the size of your products seems too big. I’m leaning toward new solid state realty systems for the compactness and fuseless ability. ( MSD Solid State relay hub, Switch-Pros, M-Unit blue, ) Any positives in sticking to the old school relay and fuse setups?
Thanks for the fine introduction. bullseye classic installation of relays will make a nice cable-salat. Dark and grey weather in Germany are a invitation to dive into the option.
Is my impression right, that the dc relay includes reduced features ob the dc-hub? In this case perfect for limited number of consumers?
Last but not least lot of experience and advance in a box!
This could be the exact thing I have been looking for! A powerstation capable of running at 2000W inverter, and hopefully serviceable when the battery dies. How easy or hard is it to replace the battery in say five years time? And, if we have our own 2000W inverter, is it easy to install that into the standard option?
When will there be more installation videos ?
We were preparing for a new product release soon, hence why the build content has taken a backseat for a bit. But we recently posted 2 new installations videos if you want to check it out !
🔥
Thx Heiner very interesting
Seems like a great product. How does it compare against the Auxbeam 6 gang and all its copies? Are there any advantages when using the Egon?
The switching capacity is higher (25A), it is easier to integrate a large variety of switches into the Relay Hub (also OEM style switches in the dash for better vehicle integration), the Relay Hub has got constant power outputs, Relay Hub does not use any power in idle, It has got a maximum power rating of 80A, manual override switches on the unit itself, if a relay fails it can easily be replaced with automotive relays that are available worldwide, different switch systems like remotes and hard wired switches can be installed in parallel, systems like the ARB Linx can be integrated, it can act as a stand alone power distribution system for battery boxes.
You can buy a 12 output Auxbeam for less than this one that only has 5 outputs
I just purchased a redarc bcdc40 and was about to pull the trigger on the Egon DC hub, but now im kinda confused, what's the difference between the relay hub and dc hub? I can only see a switch extra in the relay they both do the same. What do you recommend?
Hi there, thanks for your question. The Relay hub allows you to switch the 5x 20a outputs, where the DC Hub does not have any switching capabilities, but includes more outputs as well as inputs.
I’m also confused on this. Wouldn’t switches be separate to both relay and dc hubs? Do I need both with units with my build or just one?@@ReadytoDriveAnywhere
I really appreciate the approach to this product development. The quality, simplicity and support have helped me be slightly less dumb in the 12v space when attempting my build.
Now ready to deck it out with all things egon
I can see ASPW taking credit for this.
There are no apostrophes in the plurals. That's an apostrophe catastrophe. Then again, my second language is speaking back.
Otherwise, still following :)
