Hey man , great video. I've done these brake jobs on this style of truck many many times. It was years ago on rental cube vans. Always thought what a pain in the butt just to change brakes!! Brought back lots of memories. Thanks
As a golden rule I have when you have situations like this never do just 1 side but do both sides, inspect all your seals and bearings, and depending where u live i.e. Canada you can buy the brake bleeder vacuum pumps, and yes they do have electric ones lol, noticed lil bit oil front of rear dif. Check ur Universal's and front dif bearing, most times is seal is leaking then those are main culprits and also time and mileage, and a lil fyi bleeding front and cleaning reservoir is a good idea and never skimp and get the good quality brakes, and yes lil Richard you did right by changing out rear differential fluids, always check to make sure that you put proper SAE fluids, seen some foolishness over the years sooooo not going there lol, but good job, and will see if I can get u a special tool for Christmas trust me it'sa life saver I mean knuckle saver lol
Any idea how long replacing a carburetor takes, I know it's not able to give a solid answer, but I don't know and I'm trying to not get jerked around thanks
As you said, every vehicle is different. All said and done, I replaced mine in about 2-3 hours taking my time to do it right and a few minor mods to make it work
I need a carb for a 460 where did you find your's and a mechanic pur an electric choke I drove it about 60 miles and it's been parked for about 2 months. I tried starting it and it wouldn't turn over but it really was shaking, any ideas? I'm not a mechanic, and in ontario canada, don't know a mechanic
I found this one on eBay. It would be too small for a 460 but there are different options. Without seeing the vehicle, it's hard to say exactly why it won't start. Could be many things such as a low battery, bad gas etc. If you provide more details, I can try to help out.
@@thehonestmechanic thanks okay well a mechanic said the carb was bad something about needing jets replaced? they put an electric choke on it, when I did try starting it, I was getting a boost and spray to try and start it, but where I store it the man said he doesn't know why it won't start, while we tried to get it going the rv shook a lot, I know it's hard to say without seeing it, thanks for any help

By your description, it sounds like a carburetor issue OR a spark issue
@@thehonestmechanic will be looking into it in the next month or so thank you
That is lots of rusty!
