Coincidentally, I actually just got my Kingfisher back in the mail today! I had a slight issue with detent lash and I had a great experience with their customer service and they sent me a brand new one.
I thought this was going to be a catch and release but when I got it in hand I definitely fell for it. Great action, surprisingly comfortable, and looks way better once you have it in hand. I highly recommend it and it’s good to know the HRC is optimal and they are using a real DLC or at least a high quality alternative!

I have this version, & it is stunning. It's also fun to use & a beautiful fit & finish. I call it 'The Casket' ⚰️ due to the shape/look of the scales when folded

I have the blue one. I think they call it burnt titanium. For what the knife is its a great price. The blade and action is great. The thumb stud is also great. I also have their rhino and the action on that is also great and its only a 30 or 40 dollar knife

Remette turned me off when I got a button lock model and it had a flimsy plastic cap attachment for the button. I'll check them out again in time.

Hey MC (or anyone else) do you know somewhere I can send a blade to get a mirror polish and edge put on it? I am looking to totally deck out my 20cv para 3 with sweet scales titanium hardware and a mirror finish.

I actually thought that yellow ring on the thumbnail was a highlight to point out something about the handle material, not an actual ring on the actual knife, lol

It's actually just a frame lock with an overlay of titanium over it. People call it a bolster lock or a sub frame lock... It's literally the same thing.

I think Remette is making some cool knives, but boy do I think almost all of them are freakishly ugly. It's both the color combos and the lines that just aren't appealing to me. I think the colors on this one don't appeal to me, and the fact the primary edge is 2+ times the length of the secondary is weird. To me the biggest advantage of a tanto is getting a super beefy tip capable of puncturing things. This weird tanto geometry gives that all up, and makes it worse by adding a subtle recurve to the secondary edge making it even a bigger challenge to sharpen. Remette really needs to lure in some new designers.
