Jane is capable of using current technologies such as computer, phone and dictation software. Jane lives independently with a rehabilitation assistant who takes care of shopping and errand for her. Jane is unable to walk and therefore requires the use of a power wheelchair for mobility at all time.
Hi Jay. Yeah you are right at 12:24. There was a slight misinterpretation about Jane's age. However, for me I would also think that Jane had a stroke "2 weeks ago" as I haven't heard any case of a newborn that suffered a stroke at such a young age. Thank you.
Can we keep the writing question paper with us throughout the writing exam for (45 minutes)??or do we need to give it back to the examiner after 5 minutes of reading? Please reply

Hi there.. excellent video there... the case note that says 2-weeks old stroke- ....(in a real-case scenario)....will somehow be interpreted as a stroke that happened two-weeks ago... that explains why some healthcare providers may answer it that way... However, because it resulted to C.P then it gives us a hint that it happened Long time ago..
Since we are not allowed to make notes during the 5 minutes of reading time, can someone who has experience with OET tell me whether or not are we allowed to highlight case notes or given a blank paper to structure the writing/ para before actually writing the letter into the answer booklet?
