@@testlogs9005, Interesting, because the CO alarms that we have in America sound 4 short beeps when tested. This is why I find European Alarms interestingly different from American Alarms.
@@Vulpix4025 we used to have another battery operated one that sounded like that but that's given up the ghost (leaky cells) alternating and sweep are common tones for commercial settings domestic its either a -.-.-.-.-. or .-.-.---.-.-.-- dot being a beep and dash being off.
yeah, a few days ago it tripped in the hidden space behind the bathroom at 3AM a few days ago, really concerning might make a video on that. the sensor might have gone bad the analogue value was drifting all over the shop, no wind or dust clear air.
And that's the second time I heard XP95 do pulse instead of Hi-Lo. Wouldn't it be funny if it held its tone in the low tone. And what did you do to your landing?
Awesome! Thank you, I actually have a Morley panel and not a Kentec one like in the video. What other inputs to your knowledge trigger an alert tone? Many Thanks
With the Advanced MX4200 (the panel I'm getting very soon) the inputs can be programmed to trigger many different responses, including specific tones (Apollo Discovery Sounders have 15 tone pairs) and alert (all Apollo sounders except the ancillary base sounder can sound the alert tone).
I like the Symphoni Sounders. They've got good harmonics.
Interesting how that CO alarm did Code 3 instead of Code 4.
its like that out of the box.

@@testlogs9005 Why Did You Replace The Sonos Sounder In The Garage
That Symphoni sounder has good harmonic.
Is you carbon monoxide alarm linked with you main fire alarm control panel
Just cuz I’m think of linking my apollo XP95 alarm setup with my aico carbon monoxide alarm
@@thlighting yes
When did you switch buttons did you break the glass on that?
@Test Logs has the alarm system ever gone off without you doing it?

Finally an old style call point
ive got the cupboard call point and the entire alarm that is at the bottom floor all over my school!
How have you connect that CO alarm with your panel and put a separate tone throughout?
Would be brilliant to know how to set up the co alarm!
Why didn't the sounder next to the panel go off like it was silent and the beacon didn't go off anyway with it
What was the sounder in the garage? Sounds like a symphoni sounder
apollo open area.
Test Logs ah, ok
Apollo Multi-Tone Open Area Sounder/Visual Indicator

the landing is getting decorated...
ah ok.
That's It You Good
May I ask, how you setup an "Alert Tone", for example can you do this with a manual call point? Many Thanks and great video, keep them coming!
It'll be done via an input on the panel which (in cause and effect programming) will trigger alert.
Thank you Cole, is this what a class change input is? Sorry, my terminolgy isn't the best at the moment, hence why I am trying to teach myself?
The class change inputs on most Apollo protocol panels do indeed trigger the alert tone.
