    thanks! and yes the building is empty. my dad wont let me do this if its a working day. and yea this is a fairly small building so it didn't take me too long to test it.

    @msj191961 12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nice test. Nice system too! Was the building empty? My dad said it's easier to pull off a bell test in a smaller building.

    So basic yet so beautiful

  • @msj191961
    @msj191961 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hmm. This building actually looks to have a lot of halls and back rooms. Just thanks for uploading. It looks really neat to test those things in person. My dad works for ComEd, but the Lincoln Centre buildings he maintains take a lot of preparation before a bell test and the fire dept. has to be scene as well.

  • @tor94
    @tor94  12 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    il try to do that next time i test the system

  • @tor94
    @tor94  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    yeah, it does. actually this is only one section of the entire building. my father owns the whole building. each office space has its own fire alarm system. and yeah, i have fun testing this system whenever i can!

    I love the fire alarm you made in ROBLOX!!

    • @RJARRRPCGP
      @RJARRRPCGP 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm bummed that Roblox won't let me add sounds and dunno how to make a pull station linked to it in Roblox. That's why I'm not there right now... I almost made one in Roblox! I got addicted to Roblox early last year, IIRC...

    ever heard of a system test? there was no one else in the building and i called the alarm monitoring center so there would be no fire department response.

      tornadofreak1994 is the system hooked up to a dialer for the fire department?

    • @tor94
      @tor94  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, it is. The dialer is a wireless dialer that is located close to the ceiling (6 to 7 feet above the panel

    • @RJARRRPCGP
      @RJARRRPCGP 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe the electromechanical ones have a tendency to be higher than the listed db... In fact, the db listed is often the mininum db...

    4:17.. was that a magnet you used? how can that set off the alarms?

    • @sirensofsoutheastmichigan
      @sirensofsoutheastmichigan 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Certain smokes allows a magnet to dissrupt the current, causing an alarm and setting off the system

  • @everyonesloopy
    @everyonesloopy 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    why is there an alarm outside? i've always had this question

    • @bextaylorklaus767
      @bextaylorklaus767 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      so people don't go inside the building and also if the alarm stops it lets people know they can go back inside

    • @pvh_facp4001yt
      @pvh_facp4001yt 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bex Taylor Klaus that is and that's not the only reason. Another reason is if the fire dept is looking for the building, they will find it via the alarm.
