Just bought one of these based on your 2 videos. My first crawler and I love it! Body is very brittle though, drywall and shoe-goo required. I’m sure yours is gathering dust on a shelf, but I’d love to see more if you ever get time. Thanks for the great vids Phil!
Had this crawler for a few months and it still astonishes me with how capable it can be. Just had to design and 3d print rock sliders and rear bumper for it. Can keep up quite easily with a traxxas summit and an rgt ex86120. Best rig for the money 4 sure
I think this setup you have is gonna be more suited to the more natural trails with it being as wide as it is. My Kanyon and my sons Mauler are both set up for natural trails through the woods, mud and national trust gardens. We find they can be a little wide for trail centres.
@@TomleyRC thanks so much for replying to my comment first of all I'm star struck haha. That's what makes a place truly great when there's even better people that run it. Cheers to you Tomley merry Christmas and a happy new year 🎉 I can't wait for your next video ! Good on ya
Fairplay I don't think you could get better than that for the price range shocked me how capable it is 👌 wishing you and family all the best for Christmas and the New year have a good 1 Phil
I'm a big RGT fan and was thinking to buy one of these, then saw the 86190 they are about to release ... looks awesome and might just save my budget for that one.... lockable diffs, 2 speed, scale body......hope you can review it soon!
I'm betting that Fusion motor made half that course possible, for that truck. Just like British drivers on the other side of the road, your torque twist is lifting the left wheel, instead of the right 🙂 Merry Christmas, Phil, to you & your family.
I bought one of these based on the original recommendation... it's brilliant, taken it to the beach, the woods and on holiday and it's been a hit with all ages. Needs a little work out the box but nothing that's subtracted from it. Not seen spares listed for it yet, nor upgrades but it's good out the box. Finally, the body is brittle, so a rear mount hole smashed out, well worth taping it up before running.
Hi, I have a RGT Trample and I have just purchased a new brushless motor and ESC, i was wondering if you had a video of when you changed the motor? Would be much appreciated as I'm new to RC
Why is there an Autobot symbol stamped out of the frame? I was waiting for it to transform!? 😂 nice one Phil! Yes you should do the servo first! 😜👊 That fusion is a really nice system they do just as well as the Axe systems in fact. 👍 Great all round video dude! Thanks for sharing.
Sir Tomley, have u checked out a new 10th scale offroad from RGT yet? They said gonna release it next year, hope u get the unit first hand and review it!
I put the 1200kv in it, it's enough speed for me ✨🤩 and give them the cheapest wideupgrad....it fits better as on all my other cars ( these cheap from wltoys 12428🤣). Now I need a better servo... Wheel are on the way.... need rims and better shocks. And then let us see what can do 😎🥰✨
forgive my ignorance, new to the hobby but, are 4X4X4 crawlers a thing? I got 2.2's on my truck (absima CR3.4) an most man made stuff is just too small/narrow...... starting to think I've spent £400 on the wrong truck :(
very nice.!i.m a big fan of you.i have a problem because the trample has 5 gear and a very big 17 teeth pinion to reach the spur.i search in alli and banngood and i cannot find it (i want to put a14 pinion because its very fast with 17 t motor. Can you please sent me a link for the pinion .Keep up the good job !!!.

Yes, it’s a decent rig 👍
Can it run on 3s?
@@hundredeyes4596 I've uograded the esc with a hobbywing 1080 and it runs perfectly with 3s (probably works with the stock esc too)
Merry Christmas to you all🎄🎄🎄
That's a really nice looking truck. The body looks great, and with the mods you've done, really performs well. Very cool. 🤘🏻
Man I l can’t enough of crawling right now. Good stuff. She was pretty capable Brother
What a cracking rig!
The addition of the Fusion and those wheels with the offset and the enormous tyres has really let it come into its own.
Thanks Del, yes it’s turned it in to a bit of a beast
@@TomleyRC Merry Christmas, Phil, by the way!
Nice driving. Crawl course is awesome
I have a very wide rig and a rear steer conversion made a massive difference in being able to negotiate tight and narrow spaces.
Sounds good
The car is awesome and the place is the crawling land
Another awesome video. All that rig needs now is 4WS 👌 would make it unstoppable
Yes… 4WS!
Do you live in rock crawl town or what?! Seems like you got great locations specifically for crawling everywhere!
Yes, there are some good places around
Get well soon Phil
Cool decent sized truck, wicked fun
This was recorded back in October… although I am under the weather a bit now as well lol
Fantastic ride there, Tomley! 😃
It's really much better now! Awesome work!
Happy holidays! And stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Excellent vid 👍👍
Thank you

Yes, I think you are right
Wow. Totally impressed! The capability and looks wow wow wee wow! Looks like it's time to start saving up for one lol
Been waiting for this to come out, a great truck, awesome upgrades. (And extra me in the background of some of the shots....)
You got a first look at its performance 😅
@@TomleyRC i did indeed brother, and its frigging awesome.....
Awesome RC and overview,Merry Christmas brother
Merry Christmas dude
@@TomleyRC thank you
wasssssup from texas its 8:10am here if you were wondering
I find it so relaxing watching crawler Vids. I really should get one.
Nice work mate and Merry Christmas to you and yours 👍🏼
Merry Christmas 🎅
Need to get one after Xmas
That's beautiful nice work maybe we can work out something for shipping
Great vid as usual! Now I want one of those. Keep up the good work!
Thanks dude
Cool mate,
Looks like fun.
Merry Xmas
Gauranga :)
Merry Xmas
Amazing crawler indeed 👍😊
A cool video ; thanks 🙂
No probs
I like the 2in1 esc. That crawl place was really cool 🤙✅
That is such an amazing crawler course i wish we had some here in Vancouver Canada
Yes, it’s very good. And the people that run it are equally as good 👍

I like this one .it large..without a large price
I like it a lot, have it in my basket for a long time. Waiting for some discount 😅
I just don't like how it looks but I can't complain how good it crawls.
Nice rig, nice run if my Thunderball numbers come up tomorrow might get one
Good luck
Great truck and some great driving! 👍🏻 A 4WS setup would make it even better on some of those tight corners? Perhaps not as challenging though!
Yes, 4WS would be good
Very nice, keep meaning to visit beds when I work down in cambs, but never get my work done it time before it’s dark 🙄
Hopefully you’ll get there next year sometime

Thank you. Merry Christmas to you too
I have been eyeing that RGT for some time now......
I think Imma pull the trigger and add it along side my TRX4, slash and scx24
Nice collection 👌

Isn't it supposed to have opposing axle rotation to eliminate torque twist?

@@TomleyRC Well then... get well soon!
Good looking Rig! I'm sure when u run it in
Full droop dropped down a bit it will be super capable. Sorry for this comment being in two parts I hit the send but before I was finished. Lol .
Which RGT do you reckon is best as a first crawler?
Bodyshell is made from Lexan or PVC?
Lean by the looks of it
Why the torque twist? I thought it had a reverse transmission?
next video world cheapest hobby grade rc car PLEASE
would these crawlers benefit from and open center diff (keep locked axle diffs) to stop them wheelieing on inclines?
Nice crawler parcour 👍. Did you build it yourself?
No, only added the Motor and wheels
@@TomleyRC I mean the parcour, not the rc 😀
With heavier shock oil and a much lower CG I think it could really be something good. But looks quite gangly as it is.

I’ve not seen it yet… I’ll go see what I can find out
Nice crawling! What about a little weight up front?👍👊👍
Yes, that would help
I know nothing about rc cars, so can you turn that crawler into a basher, or is it too complicated, because that thing looks awesome
This one would be fine to make in to a Basher, has plenty of travel in the suspension
It has the autobot symbol on the chassis sides 👍

what is the size of your tire ?
It’s a Super Swamper XL… I think they are 145mm
Looking to get some 2.2 myself ..
Hi everyone. Does anybody know where I can get the parts for these?
Thanks

Crawlers: the reason behind TH-cam's decision to add 4x video playback speed!🤭😅
Ok, who isn’t tempted to get one just for the autobot symbol? Lol
Haha
Miss "motor on axles" crawlers ... they are great and no twist ..🙂💫😌😍
True
Love my FtX Ravine for that !
Soooooo..... you're not going to say anything about the autobot symbol on the frame...lol
Haha.. I did in the initial review.. although I still don’t know why it’s there
Put wheel weights on the crawler..
#First
Rgt part fail..
They always seem to be a little slow with the spares availability… but no different to most companies really
Yes, but too few spare parts ...
It just looks tacky to me yeah it's capable but it looks too cheap
It is pretty cheap for what it is 👍
The truck needed front droop suspension set-up.
