Cooper Landing is a hole-in-the-wall town in Alaska full of fishing, rafting, river floating, sight seeing, hiking and more for the outdoor enthusiest and adventurer. Rooted in the gold prospecting in the late 1800s, Cooper Landing became the center for Alaska Highway 1 to connect from Anchorage to Seward, Kenai and all the way to Homer Alaska. In this video I talk about the outdoor adventures and things to do in Cooper Landing, the history of the small city & more. It's a really cool place to visit for a few days, go with a guide down the river and enjoy the best of what Alaska has to offer.

Mmm..salmon..man ive done some kayak fishing had a blast in just a local lake..luckily i wasnt in deep water because i got my a** handed to me by a catfish🤣😂🤣😂flipped me over..normally i probably woulda let him go but it was the principle..made great nuggets😁
My goal next year is to start some kayak fishing! Haven't gone after catfish yet, but stay tuned!

Cooper Landing is my favorite place to be and camp. When I fishing in Cooper Landing in June I feel like I'm in Alaska with all the beautiful mountains. When I fish in July in Soldotna I really don't feel like I'm in Alaska. Don't get me wrong I love Soldotna just doesn't feel Alaska no mountain view.
Very true! Cooper Landing is much more peaceful and calming. But anytime you can fish the river, it's an awesome day!
