Im looking into buying a imac g3 green ,im looking into upping ram to 512mb and a ssd but my question is im looking into old games -fallout 1 , diablo , bugdom and doom . Will the basic pc cd rom disk work or do they have to say mac on the front of the box/ case/ disk thanks in advance.
Hello, the games should say Mac or PC/Mac on the box. If it doesn't explicitly mention mac then I wouldn't risk buying it especially since old games are so pricy. You could also run the games off a thumb drive as I believe it does have a USB port.
Thank you. FYI I'm stuck on Mojave on my 2014 Mac Mini due to an unsolvable upgrade glitch so I had to download an older version of Porting Kit (Version 3.0 (3.0.64) as Whiskey is not compatible. I used Porting Kit to install from the offline GOG installer and then I located the files and copied them to the Devilution folder.
Hello! I I am trying to assist my brother install this on his mac, He is having issues getting devilutionX to open when he downloaded it, it says its showing as Malware. any suggestions?
@@MacGamingRevolution After a ton of tinkering he finally got it to work. I'm not sure what he did. I believe there was possibly an IOS version issue as well causing the issue he needed work around for
When the Mac displays that Malware error, instead of double clicking the application, you "Right Click" then choose "Open", that should by pass the Malware messages.

Everything goes well until finding the application support devilution, I followed the whisky videos
