Great review! Thanx. You just saved me some money and buyer's remorse :) I had a gut feeling, that it's not worth it for me, but seeing you using it and not concentrating on kissing up to Gerber like many other reviewers, did it for me! Keep up the good work!
Thank you! I am really glad I could help you save some money. I try to make all my videos with information I would like to hear and when i manage to help someone out(whether to buy or not buy) i am really happy about hat.
Love the in depth analysis. Always appreciate your insight. I have the Gerber Splice with the scissors and I dig it. Been on the fence about the Gerber pry.
I am glad you liked the video. Yes...i also thought about the Gerber splice back ten but decided for the vise. Now you can't find the splice that easily and it's a shame since i think many would like it. The Prybrid is ok...as far as gerber products go it is build fine. It is a good "multitool" for someone like me...just as a gadget...not sure if for people who would actually need something like this it would be useful. Like i said..if you would have to change out 3-4-5 blades a day....that system would get annoying and painful pretty fast.
I looked for it but could not find anything. TBH just like I don't really need a knife, i do not need a pry tool...but I do like to play around with them. I have seen a lot of small pry tools...some look really cool and some look like they are just a key chain pendant. I like the prybrid....i mean...sure..it could be done much better but as it goes for gerber this is one product that is not awful!
@@SpartanJohns I can't find anything on it either but I will check it out when I get home and make sure I have the name correct and if I do I will be doing my own TH-cam review of it ok
@@BladeObssession no worries buddy! I didn't know this one either. I could not see it available anywhere either. It is cool because of the folding exacto knife holder. What I don't like with most of these multitools is the bottle cap opener. For one thing they are always uncomfortable and i think this is the most gimmicky thing ever. On all tools. This is the one tool that speaks to every guy tooling for a key chain tool. And it's fine! but they never seem to put it on a tool in such a way that it does not stab you in the palm if y0u squeeze the tool. For the exacto knife feature hey have the prybrid X i think....i am curious about that one too! I keep sayin they are all so gimmicky, but I just can't help myself wanting to try them out!😅
@@SpartanJohns I hope you can find one. I think you'll like it and the blade locks like a liner lock sort of. I don't really carry mine much. I'd probably give it to you if we lived close. I'm sure you would use it more than me
I’ve had the prybrid for two years now and have used it exactly once! I don’t recommend it. It’s extremely bulky for what it is. If you need a pry tool regularly there are better options.
I got it because I was curious. I don't need a prytool in my day to day life...nor do i need a knife. I carried it with me in my backpocket. never needed to use it. however I can see how some people might find a use for it and I can definitely see how they could improve it. A lot of people bought the olight utility knife. Insead of that I would take the prybrid anyday. I have no issues with the size/weight. i just wish, like I do for every piece of gear, that they would have tested it a bit themselves
like all gadget/multitools this one tries to do a few things ok but does not do what a dedicated tool would. I see how it can be useful for a lot of people and i see that it could be improved to be so much better. for me it was just a curiosity. and I am happy i got it.

I appreciate the pry bar testing! And I am very curious what Ganzo you will snap in another video :D.
We shall see! I doubt they will make such a tool. But you now what: if they do, i will probably buy and test it!
My favorite pry tool that you might like if you can still find one is the Gerber Relic.

@@SpartanJohns I'm so sorry my friend it's a Gerber Artifact. Apologies again for the mixup

Thanks! I think it can be useful...if not...then just fun!
Doesn’t look that useful.
