yes you bought a van. Good stuff. I have a 95 Toyota Hiace converted that I brought home to New Zealand from the Pilbara. Why... Because like you I love my van and don't want to sell her. I've had to strip out the back to show the official People here in NZ that I don't have a rust bucket. But now I am registered and legal. I have put in a full-size double mattress as the foam just wasn't as comfy. It's a van and it's going to be cold in cold weather and hot in hot weather, not much will change that. 40 degrees in the Pilbara and its cool at night here in NZ Mine comes with an aircon for the hot days, and I dress up for the cold nights
The best thing about van life is that no two conversions are the same, and we all love the way we are free to be where ever and do whatever we please. So go you good thing, You keep making the videos and I will keep watching

$11,500 for the van and $6k for the conversion. MY website is linked in the bio with all the costs breakdowns and links to what I used.

Lovely van!! Do you have extra head room when you're standing up in the van? I'm thinking of converting a hiace commuter.

I can just stand. Need to slouch a little but it's perfect for me, I'm around 170cm.
