I was one of the first people to play this song. He made it for our county honor band and he even conducted it. What a legendary piece and a legendary man!!
the way i see his music is that he is telling the story of a journey that spans across multiple pieces and the reason each piece sounds like one another is because we are following the main character in each piece
I can hear the Everest parts in there, starting around 2:25. He never ends the phrase as he does in Everest but I can hear it. Although with Galante everything sounds the same. Lyrical and horn solis
I hear a little bit of Avengers and Star Wars... Specifcally I heard the Avengers theme from age of ultron and twin suns from starwars(or the force theme)
That woodwind triplet stuff and sixteenth note patterns seems like it was reused from Red Rock Mountain and Mt. Everest 😂 Seems like a staple for Galante
Amazing song, but RIP to the mallets player. I can hear that they were a little bit out of time, and I can relate (having have been that person at the most inopportune of times myself)

chris dufault woah, me too! it was quite an experience playing this song, it was my favorite lol
C D honestly same. What school did you play for?
vallejo, how about you?
C D ahhh I played for armijo 😂
beautiful horn parts, woodwind runs, powerful low brass moments, trumpet and horn melodies. or in other words, a galante piece

Now, THIS is what a great concert band score should sound like. Like very epic movie soundtrack.
Wonderful piece, I love Rossano's style. The community band I play with commissioned a piece for our 35th anniversary concert, it was great!
Mais uma belíssima obra, desta vez com uma inspiração Edvard Grieg "morning" 👏👏👏👏 Parabéns!!!
Yes, that’s definitely a Galante piece...
Difficult, but so amazingly beautiful
You say that as it's a bad thing lol.
It is Galante style indeed...
Also there's a part of Mt. Everest included??
And so on, oboes and tubas are crying...

This song is so badass. Playing it in high school.
Love this piece
Isn’t that motif dah da d da dah that comes in at 2:25 from Mt. Everest?
Not that I’m complaining. That’s probably my favorite piece I’ve ever played
Well I know 2:14 is Mt. Everest in a minor key.
4:07 sounds like starwars !
It's the same exact chords lmao i heard it too
More Galante!!
That woodwind triplet stuff and sixteenth note patterns seems like it was reused from Red Rock Mountain and Mt. Everest 😂 Seems like a staple for Galante
I got the skype and talk to the dude so I mean... 😁 can't complain about his music.
🥰galante
I wish I had the opportunity to play the first trombone part on this.
Yeah that’s Galante for sure.
hold up two TUBA parts? also I'm getting some Mt. Everest vibes...
Dat Ending doe for the FHorns and Saxes . . .O_o
Oooo
This definitely reminds me of Lord of the Rings!!
👍 x1000

Pretty good pièce .... Its sound a bit like a vidéo game pièce (warcraft)
