The Boots in Bishopbriggs has that door motor noise and the automatic disabled toilet door in John Lewis in Glasgow Buchanan galleries had that as well

Would the worn rubbers cause the unit to overheat/leak oil and stop driving open?

Any reason on a pair of doors the right hand door doesn't open but the left opens and closes randomly? The right hand unit is showing signs of oil leaking, and maybe the left door is seeing the closed door and opening on the safety 🤔🧐🤷🏻‍♂️

    I've got a question.
I have this besam power swing but it makes nothing.
    The Sensor works.
But i dont hear any clicks from the valve. And the Motor does nothing.
But the Motor is ok because i tested it without the other parts.
    Is the EXA Unit necessary?

Es kann sein, dass irgendwas mit der Steuereinheit nicht stimmt oder ein Kabel defekt ist. Hast du das schon ausprobiert?

Is this normal that electro-hydraulic door operators become hot when at fully open?

Hi - Good question, apologies for the long response, thanks:
Yes it is normal for "this designed electro-hydraulic door operator" to become hot when fully open.
(As it is an electro-hydraulic power open / spring close) designed operator:
Motor driving to overcome the friction of the internal hydraulic spring close torque.
Which when in normal automatic use - once the motor has timed out (commissioned hold open drive time expired) then allows the door to spring close - like a normal hydraulic door closer module. An operator design that is normally (an available option) recommended for fire doors.
This design (as confirmed with the manufacturers) is not recommended to be kept open for long periods - as the motors can get very hot to the touch.
Many customers seemed to have not have been made aware of this fact, within there 12 month warranty documents ?
As the motor gets hotter - you can actually hear the oil in the drive motor bubbling & hissing, when the key-switch is placed to hold open after a period, which cant be good long term ££.
Other available swing door operator drive designs available are:
ELECTRIC POWER OPEN / POWER CLOSE &
ELECTRIC POWER OPEN / SPRING CLOSE &
      PNEUMATIC.
OBTAINED FROM MANY YEARS EXPERIENCE - IN OUR ONLY CHOSEN COMMERCIAL AUTOMATIC DOOR - SPECIALIST FIELD:
The correct specification of the right designed product suited to the door weight, end user (LOW OR HIGH) usage requirements & appropriate activation methods best suited to the individual entrance bespoke approach zones, with safety requirements in full compliance.
All these important combination of details obtained at the initial survey/proposal period are "KEY FACTORS" to providing long term automatic door reliability.
Factors we see so often - which can be sadly & yet so easily overlooked by the many novices working within our "SPECIALIST AUTOMATIC DOOR ARENA", with their umbrella of different field & different industry products - with there often 12 month warranty designs & "closed system" products, road map. Which only shows clear proof of there goal of monopolized short term gain.
This is why we can use the word "ADVANCED"

The manufacturers did recommend "after selling them - once they were fitted?" that this model type of electro-hydraulic swing door operators. Should not be held open by its key-switch for long periods of time? maybe that's why the company was taken over by another? Kind Regards
