if the door is opening in the "off" position it is likely getting a "key impulse". arrange to have a AAADM certified door technician make adjustments to the door to have it work to your requirements.
I installed auto doors for 40 years (Besam and Stanley) and I doubt 1% of the owners even know or even care how their door works. Sad because they would benefit from this video.
Why does the sliding door only open partially when key is turned to OFF position? How do I get it to fully open. On AUTO mode, it opens normal. Any tips?
@@kaijunior4339 If it's in the off position it shouldn't open at all. Is it a Stanley door? Most auto doors have a partial opening setting.(used for cold weather)I never liked this setting because people tend to walk into the door thinking it is going to open all the way.
@@door2416 yes it’s a Stanley Sliding door. When it’s on OFF position, it will open on push-to-exit button only but door opens partially instead. Is there a switch on the board that I could flip that could change this setting? Thanks
@@kaijunior4339 Ok , that makes sense. When you are using the exit button the door is in partial opening mode. If you want it to open wider it must be programmed to open wider in this mode. The width in partial opening is set by programming in the control.
