This is when you realize that the final battle Wukong literally just stands there most of the time letting him attack you. Choosing which random input you do to punish whatever it is you're doing. You just don't notice cause you're stressed out from the first 3 battles and hands are probably sore and just want it over with. Also in general you just see how other bosses are really much more aggressive.
With input reading you mean, the more I spam different buttons while fighting the more responsive enemy will be and attack continuously. Is that what you meant with input reading? Just confirming coz i dont know what input read is

There can be more variables than just your inputs, like the distance between your character and the boss, or if you use a certain spell... some good examples are yellow Loong and Erlang : using resolute strike on Yellow Loong to parry pretty much all of his basic combos will result in him cancelling his attack into his own parry attack... and for Erlang, apart from the immobolize spell he can return against you most of the time, every time you use a transformation he will transform himself into a Tiger and if he hit you with the leap attack it will knock you out of the transformation. Not everything is hard coded either, but on some bosses if you look up different people with 2 different playstyles, you can clearly changes in behavior like you said. That's the reason why in the video the bosses just look at each other some times, because they don't have the feedback from the player's inputs to activate all the strings that dictate their behavior.

@@carlosturrubiartes1889 You gotta finish the game 3 times to unlock all the passives of the relics, then with all Wukong's armor and Jingubang equipped do a 4 Focus Point heavy attack and you'll transform into Wukong Stance for 60 seconds. Doesn't matter where you're located, you'll be able to use Wukong stance like that.

I would like to see all bosses from chapter 1 to 6 vs Sun Wukong or some powerful bosses like Erlang but i know something like that would be very hard to do because that video would be 1 hour long or more, also thank you for making this video,hope to see more of your contents
This seems to be the second phase broken shell wukong, and it seems like not all of his move sets are used. Wonder what would happen if you get the third phase broken shell wukong. If that’s possible.
@@hungathome9427 no, OP mean this is the 2nd phase version and not the 3rd phase after he absorb's the player's wukong stance. During the 3rd phase the empty shell is more aggressive and can chain those focus attacks.
I wish you could do the move where wukong stands on top of his staff and throws like 5 staffs at you. Or the move where he volley balls you in the air then smacks you to the ground and kicks your staff back to you
Erlang 3rd shield phase was such a pain in the ass.. I couldnt do enough damage to break the shield without it recovering... Even when I save my tornado vessel for it I die from his final shield cuz I got no more heal
staff spin for qi and there's might recovery pills you can use to get your transformation back. you can use azure dust to corner and break his shield cause erlang doesnt attack you for some reason
both 2 bosses are developed to fight player. But since Wukong is similar to player => Erlang also developed to fight Wukong, so Erlang has more advantage here. Wukong wasn't developed to fight Erlang because Erlang flying to much
Are we forgetting that the final boss has like 4 stages Edit: but I also can't believe that there are end game bosses that are harder cuz I had more trouble with bosses like: Yellow Loong, definitely Erlang, Scorpion King(I think that's his name), etc....
I am sure Yellow Loong attack can cause Shock effect but it doesn't apply to Wukong boss? Not just him. None of the boss seem to be able to apply status effect on Wukong
In fact, it does work. However, this remains of the Great Sage was summoned using the Monkey Hair Summoning mod. The HP bar of this mod does not support displaying abnormal status.
I like how when Erlang starts talking, Wukong's shell just waits until he finishes. Gives it a cinematic flair
And erlang keeps referring to wukong as 'him', seems he's still in the denial phase.

it's not as simple as "input reading", the AI learn your playstyle.

@shinichi9do i think it is input reading. Rather than AI acutally learning. The AI is progammed to use certain moves whenever you do.
This is just making me realize how often you can flinch Broken Shell compared to what you THINK you can do.
