My brothers and I had a bike just like this when we were "kids" along with an old VW Beetle. We used to chase each other around in the fields pretending we were the "Dukes of Hazard". Good memories. Thanks for posting.
I was six or seven when my dad got one of these, all I really remember about it was that it seemed like the muffler was designed specifically to burn the krap out of your leg if you were on the back
I had the same for my kids back in the late 80's, then it got stolen never to be seen again. I replaced it with a blue 73 Honda SL70 4 speed w/clutch, both were a lot of fun to ride on the trails. Kept it till the late 90's then my son upgraded to a Honda 250 dirt bike, Fun Times 😁.
Nice resto. Had one in 1970. Metallic blue with black stripe. 72cc 3 speed centrifugal clutch. Only held half a gallon of petrol and did 140MPG.. 42 MPH. Only had 2500 miles when I sold it. Had it road registered.
Sweet bike ,move the rear brake cable over the air cleaner there should be clip on top of your air cleaner to hold it in place so its not hanging down.! Nice video too! SWEET
The K1's seat should have the chrome trim, if I remember correctly. Very nice work and very time consuming. Mine is the Candy Ruby Red K1, and very difficult to get the color match perfect.
Ver Nice Job! I am Starting on getting stuff together to rework my 72 H , Did you use the Candy Yellow? Its hard to tell between it and the Gold. Thanks for the Video Patrick

Great job on this old Honda 70. I've seen them for sale at $1500 and they need work. You've got an heirloom there.
Thats a lot of work!! mine is a 1970 with original tires . Starts first kick and idles perfect, I drive it almost everyday. 3000 miles or so on it

I had a 73' CT70 in gold just like that, mine was a 3speed auto. That's a sweet ride! Miss mine, huge mistake getting rid of it.
