Yep, she straight up jumped right in and kept the same tempo she'd been keeping the whole performance. No fear, plenty of attitude and confidence lol. Almost every performance i've seen of this specific part of the piece people play it VERY safe hahaha

yeh as i got tabs for electric guitar there are some freakin stretches sometimes u must add octaves but i love the arpeggios parts can be incorporated into heavy metal solos though ask yngwie malmsteen lol or michael romeo
So refreshing, the National Orchestra of Russia accompanying Paganini‘s violin concerto under the direction of Vladimir Spivakov! There is so much undeterred strength and vividness in it without the kitsch one could expect from it otherwise. And yes, it strongly remembers me of the great Russian tradition since the recording of the same concerto in 1966 with Victor Tretyakov as soloist. What a beautiful reencounter and surprise! Maria Dueñas is a very great talent and I’m looking forward hearing more from her as well.

Being the soloist in a concerto is the finest way to bring out the best of a musician, and Paganini wrote this knowing that he was to be the soloist, so he wrote it as a picture frame for his own portrait. He made it both beautiful and a serious challenge to the skill of the soloist. And here comes young Maria Duenas and just nails it. She masters so many hard passages that Paganini had planted to keep out the competition, and then listen to how sweetly her violin sings at 8:20. Beside the music, the audio and video quality are perfect too. Just one tip for Maria: Go find a luthier who can get your bow hair last for more than just a few minutes.

In verità, oltre le straordinarie capacità tecniche, Paganini ha operato una ricerca approfondita e sistematica relativa alla "sonorità" del suo strumento( il violino) , con risultati eccezionali come nel Concerto N° 1 , opera 6. La grandissima violinista Maria Duenas è un degno successore ( mi si perdoni il maschile, data la grazia della violinista) di Paganini : dotata di una tecnica straordinaria e di una sensibilità interpretativa eccezionali, merita davvero di essere paragonata allo stesso Paganini. Un applauso al Maestro Vladimir Spivakov e a tutta l'Orchestra per l'ottima esecuzione. Bellissimo spettacolo di grazia e di musica.
Qui si confonde Paganini virtuoso violinista, con Paganini fantastico compositore. Ciò viene immensamente prima!
