A Spiritual Journey to The Pageant | with Angel Vitale🌸

When a voyager and beauty pageant contestant come together with the same intentions for the islands: The betterment of carrying on traditions for the next generation!
Having been in American Samoa for three months, I’ve been blessed to connect with a diverse array of individuals who embody the essence of SAMOA. Among these connections is Paulina Angel Vitale, one of the five contestants running for Miss American Samoa 2024.
My connection with Angel was no coincidence, and neither of us believe so. We both firmly believe our paths aligned at the right time to uplift each other’s goals, dreams, and ambitions. Our common intention is clear: living for the betterment of these islands and their people.
The pageant coincides with our meeting, and I am fully supporting her journey to the stage. But as I told her, “You have just become part of a bigger picture that is the ‘One Ocean, One People’ initiative.” This initiative represents an ongoing reverse ancestral migration of the Pacific in modern times, focusing on gathering and sharing stories of Pacific people, their culture, and their struggles.
Angel’s story is more than inspiring; it is a clear, mindful path forward with intentions that transcend the pageant. As she said, “My journey with the pageant is just the beginning.”
This connection transcends mere collaboration. We are in a fellowship of like-minded individuals with strong, passionate intentions to give back to the people and especially the next generation.
Overall, I am deeply humbled to be part of this pageant experience, both behind the scenes and leading up to the big evening.🥹
