Aloha atu my great uncle hila. Fly high. Thankyou for your service to the community within Porirua and abroad. Your legacy will live on. One of Tokelaus many pioneers that settled in NZ and Educated many pacific islanders. A true leader and role model. Condolences to the Taupe family. Say hi to Grandpa Taulaga, Grandpa Alehana and Grandma Mahina and Brother Seth Taulaga. Aloha lahi atu

Malo aupito to this man. Like many other stories we can relate to regarding our parents coming from the Pasific during the late 40s early 50s. Or more so our grand parents. You can see it in his eyes that he is indeed a happy proud Tokelauan who has paved the way for his people and most importantly his Family. Ofa lahi atu Good Sir.

Great man with a great story for everyone from the Pacific Islands to emulate. I have great admirations for all the pioneers of the Pacific islands that left the comfort of the yearly warm weather and work in cold extreme places for the future of their families. I can relate to his story and I thank the Lord our heavenly father for his blessings upon his pacific island people. I am a proud Samoan that left the island of Savaii living in Philadelphia PA after retiring from the US Army serving 21 years.

@@DARUSTA254 Actually you're both wrong - Tokelau people are just that - Tokelau people. Nothing more, nothing less.
