That limo deserves some real tlc and a new roof. Its so much nicer than it has any right to be and will be an amazing road trip vehicle
Yes let's see a nice tinted blue Perspex roof to compliment the rest of the decor. And hydraulic lift kit and hidden roll cage for more flexibility. And finish it off with a conversion to being a hybrid. Get rid of the driveshafts, connect the engine as a generator, and put in 3 Tesla front axles so it becomes a 6 wheel drive and steer monster limo.

That has been true of new shops since some crusty old guy built the first shed to whack iron in! And this one was probably too small before the ink was dry on the plans. I am fearful, though, what Ethan, in a larger, more fully equipped shop might release; the terror is so palpable that I cannot turn away! And a machinery barn to park all the finished projects so they don't have to un ice them for re use!

I used roll on bed liner as a roof liner on my 84 olds. It actually holds up pretty well. Been on for two years no cracks and only one chip from my kayak loading
That smell is mildew in the carpet, and the padding. I've been in the flooring business for 40 years, and the only way to get rid of it is to replace both the carpet, and the padding. Really like you're channel! PEACE ✌️
Limo carpet has a lot of "extras" you don't want to know about in it.. I would have that out first thing, NASTY
You can get pretty far with an enzymatic cleaner and a proper carpet extractor, but you're right that the best solution is new carpet and upholstery.
Judging by who they bought it from, it's been trashed. They'll definitely need to have all that replaced.

That combo of tow vehicle and trailer with the cooper put a smile on my face. Most rediculous set up I have ever seen! Love it! The problem is where to go from here?,
Every time I see you guys upload it puts a smile in my face, this channel is what I strive to have in the future, a group of friends that go on road trips in the most clapped out vehicle to get something they’ve only ever seen online
I love the setup! Also, the limo is priceless. As far as the roof situation on the limo goes, you could maybe sandblast it, patch what metal needs to be replaced, then use whatever coating to seal it, then build a platform that could go across the roof. (Maybe similar to a rock crawler cage) From there, you could set the platform up to do multiple things. Haul a small project, put a tent or camper on the top, etc.
You guys should try throwing 2 dually axles in the rear of the truck, and make it a dually 6x6

I just happened to do some research on oil levels for the 7.3. I have a 4x4 van with one, and I got a few quarts low accidently. I believe what I found was Navistar built in a fail-safe, when the oil reservoir drops below 7 quarts the HEUI fuel system shuts down and causes no damage. Love the builds you guys do! Keep it up, cheers from Montana.
I remember leaning up against the tires of that thing while chatting with others in that garage complex for years.
This is such an amusing coincidence, as I had a shop in that complex for around 12 years.
I'm just glad to see that something is actually going to happen with that Mini, it was a bit of a running joke among some of the renters, about if it'd ever run/drive.

I know this may be unrealistic but you should try to get it running and bring it to Mini on the Mack this year. It's the first Saturday in August with a parade of Mini's crossing the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan

So Will was actually more correct than he knows when he said, "its fine thats the oil's low, its a 7.3."
The HEUI fuel system on the 7.3 operates using oil pressure. If the oil is ever low enough that the pickup runs dry, itll cut fuel and just shut off before it damages the bottom end. So you know it was never starving of oil.

Ok that was the funnest dandelion eat I have seen on the tubes ever. I dip them in pancake batter and fry them OR sun dry them and then use them in tea. The entire plant can be eaten, some parts better than others. If you get the little flower buds when they still dont have stems a table spoon or two in a cup-o-soup or noodle soup is really really good.
I think the coolest jacked-up car that I've ever seen . Was a 1972 Corvette stingray on 42 inch mud tires . It was at the mud drags , and it had a blower sitting on top of the engine that was just as big as the engine . Seeing a Corvette go across the mud pit quicker then you'd expected it to go on dry pavement . Was so cool I'll probably never forget it .

I love that it's a R53 mini cooper body and yes the hood scoops are functional as the intercooler is on top of the stock motor.
Whoa! Way late to the party but I used to drive past that mini in Fircrest all the time. Even met the owner! Glad it went to an awesome new home.

you should look into using roll on rubber roof for RVs .. treat the rust first .. you could even use it on the sides after pulling off the vinyl .. give the limo some love .. and maybe some AC

my 7.3 powerstroke has the same issue of the dipstick being a pain to put back in you have to get a technique of twisting it in the right way while putting it in its anoying
The limo is a premium tow rig! I'm going to make a fan suggestion. Would you consider doing a colab with Brandon Gross (he has a bad ass 4x4 ambulance he is adventuring with). Totally one of your people. Cliff jumper, off roader, Surron rider, rock clinber, all around awesome guy. It would be an epic crossover. Would definitely help him out. Just tossing out the idea. But, these project pickup videos are absolute gold. It is a legendary way of breaking up content, with a solid adventure. Keep killing it!

I don't know who did the editing and multirotor shots but they effing nailed that montage. I've built quite a few very fast multirotors and I enjoy flying fpv as a hobby. So I always notice the drone shots. They did good work with that footage. Respect
