WTF did you stretch your fingers over 8 frets during the brutalizer?! Also the emotionalist proves that the easiest solos are sometimes the better sounding ones
1:40 Am I the only one who actually did feel some emotion during that part? It sounded so good. That's exactly the emotion I would show if I played that honestly.
Fuck you all! That was the breakdown from through struggle by as i lay dying.. Give it a listen if you dont believe me.. The breakdown is towards the end of the song..
The classic=john petrucci The sherdder=jacky vincent The brutalizer=zakk wylde The emosiolist=steve vai The wah face=kirk hammet Practice skipper=lil wayne, jones The begginer=???????? Me.
Your emotions or actions while playing different style makes me smiling even when I'm deeply sad. Keep doing keep spreading fun through guitar and make people smile. Thank you so much.
I really really enjoyed this Jared! 😁 it made me smile and laugh 😂😂 I love these vids!you should make a follow up! There are some pretty good suggestions here in the comments 😁👌
There was this kid in my school who was performing with some douche band on stage. He was a bass player and we was acting exactly like 'The Emotionalist". It felt weird because I couldn't really hear the bass. I didn't know what to feel when I realized that his lead wasn't even plugged and was just lying on the stage.
Coolymanman7 Nah, not really. If people pick up an instrument to get popular, then they aren't worth bothering about. I picked up the bass for a hobby and potential career, bot to get laid. That's just sad,
Gabriel Hole-Jones Even I don't care about getting laid through my guitar. It just feels somewhat odd to see others getting all the appreciation they don't even deserve, you know.
Coolymanman7 Agreed. Still, pop music is the living embodiment of people getting appreciation they don't deserve, and that's arguably the most mainstream music around.
10 ways to play a drum solo. 10 ways to play a bass solo. 10 ways to play a ukulele solo. 10 ways to play a tambourine solo. 10 ways to play a djent stick solo
I know this is old, but remember the single pedal double beater bass pedals that a company came out with a while ago (guys who did the triple pedal). If you had two of those on two different bass drums and played them just out of time with each other, could someone get close?
THAT WAS GREAT! I have been a guitar player for almost 30 years, and I have either acted like one of those characters on stage or I have seen and meet them in person... Too funny!
Lil Wayne? A faker? Lil Wayne is literally the best guitarist ever to exist. He's better than Satch, Kirk Hammett, and Kurt Cobain. He puts so much emotion into his solos and I love how he goes out of key just to add some effect. You get a good sense of the songs rhythm from him playing the same riff over again. Literally the god of guitar.
it's better to be a begginer than a practice skipper.
DevILX7 or fake
Agreed
Thats right
DevILX7 beginner
DevILX7, that was more of a Doom Metal solo.

Emotionalist: John Frusciante
Wah face: Kirk Hammett

It's just like Frusciante! How did I not see that haha
But there's nothing wrong with the beginner solo... RIGHT?
Cameron Naim nah if that's ur style of music then it'll fit rlly good
No
Sounds more like a riff than a solo
I guess not... there’s better solos though
If it fit to the song it's completely fine 👌
The Wah Face was awesome. Seen many a guitarist do that one.
angus young lmao
Steve Vai and Joe Satrani.
+Andrew Stack that was my first thought when i saw the wah face.
I do it too. It feels more natural to me. I educated my foot to follow the mouth, where I put my atention.

The video to Tender Surrender was worth it just for the faces.

WTF did you stretch your fingers over 8 frets during the brutalizer?! Also the emotionalist proves that the easiest solos are sometimes the better sounding ones
it's definitely sounds better when it's melodic, but pretty hard to do it right and make it memorable
Andrei Borodaenko not that hard
I can go from 7th to 16th fret on my full scale strat........
Stretching is brutal 🤘
This is just fact. The more carpal tunnel, the more brutal the riff.
damn. for the emotionalist, did you come up with that solo ???😱
Adrian Llamas dude, it's 3 notes, and a couple of bends, but it does sound cool

Steve Vai has a hard on for sustainiacs, not wah.
