I hate how Steve is so nice and admits when he's done a "not so good" move on someone then conceeds the position, but everyone else does lunges from 50m back, run him off the track and carry on like it was a legit move
Its Gran Turismo: Lunge edition. Any time anyone is even up to 0.5 behind me I assume they'll go for a lunge, and then they're surprised when we both get sent to the Shadow Realm because they tried to lunge from half a second back going into the death chicane.
Hey Steve im the guy that was driving the lambo who let you go pass i wanted to see your racing line to see where I could possibly improve my own line to find time which actually worked and my time really improved by 5 tenths so I appreciate that and sorry for not explaining that after the race thank you

That's because good close racing, especially in this game, is intense. From hundreds of hours playing it or watching it I can fully vouch for that. Maybe consider joining in? Put it this way, GT sport is the only reason I pay for ps plus access.

My TH-cam Recommendations won't leave me alone until I watch this video. Don't get me wrong I like watching Super GT videos. But this one just won't go away from my recommended.
The f- type I found was really fun to drive, it’s straight line speed is just insane so even with the slip stream it’s hard for them to get beside you and if they do you just get them to go deep into the corner then do a cut back and then pass them on the straight again, also with the mix of the speed and the gearing, at the start your like guaranteed an overtake
Once i was fourth place and a victory seemed hopless but at the last lap the top three pinned it at the death chicane and i was a close finish guess who won.
'Strange track'? The turns put me more in mind of classical Japan-style mountain pass races, the brutal back and forth of consecutive chicanes and hairpins of the touge.
There is a gap in the barrier in that last corner of Alsace, if you get the front corner in there it is not so fun - that's what happened to the leader in that second race
PS the Audi understeer... it goes down exponentially if you just unload the diff at 75% throttle or so, compared to 100%. So key to fast lap times and racing in it is to modulate the throttle like that in the turns... never unload it completely and never wind it up with full throttle until you're pointed straight.
The Viper is a MONSTER of a car. It seems to be the perfect balance of power, handling and speed. Put a good driver in the seat of a Viper, and you're looking at a top 5 finish, no matter what the position.

I would like to see you play Grand Theft Auto 5 races. I know the mechanics are terrible compared to the games you play but I think it would be hilarious. They have open wheel races. Please for the sake of entertainment.
GR.4 Dragon trail up again... and youtube algorithm somehow brings me here Did a few races just now, rage quitted one of them cuz of the stupid penalties and got a race win in the TT for the next race. Can brake really late and do a late apex run really easily and effectively in that car.
Best racing seems to be in 80-90 SR lobbies... people actually want to protect and raise their SR in those races, as opposed to having a joker to play when in the top bin at 90-99SR. I love this track for racing... you know what you need to do, and it's just about making the moves or not. A great race track design.
I was in Ollie's stream when he was racing on the Gr.1 Weekly Race and the meta for this one is just ridiculous, in one of his races all but 2 people were driving the C9, you have no chance of winning or overtaking if you don't pick the C9.
Yeah it's pretty much the case unfortunately. The other cars are about 3 or 4 tenths off per lap which is 3 or 4 seconds for the whole race. Be good if the balance was better!!
I'm formula1fan it was very intense and yeah dirty air is a big factor so you cant really overtake but we finished 17 seconds ahead of 3rd so we were really quick congrats
Nothing sums up the problems with GT Sport's penalties and SR system quite like this race. I've done several races at Dragon Trail this week where a proper 75k DR top split driver has started from the back and stayed there, not even trying to race or go past anyone purely to try and build their SR back up. I've had SR downs for contact in braking zones that barely made a sound or a bump when I hit them. It's ridiculous on its own, but it's especially tragic when the game's best have to coast around doing nothing to be able to race at the level they should be at.
On the first race in those awesome mercs you get on the power way too early on so many corners and wheel spin , that time lost over a lap is would net you a pole a lot more often
Thanks mate, I think I'm driving just fine. Right, not perfect but if I don't get on the power early I lose out. If I do get on the power early there might be some wheelspin but its better than getting on the power too late. I think I was driving just fine.
So as someone who just graduated culinary school, a timer wont help. Like everything its better to find that internal clock to keep the overcooking to a minimum. Time and practice lol
Riba move for the lead was veeeery suspect. Sure, not technically illegal and he didn't get a penalty, but It was rude. Though I suspect it was also unintentionally so.
You should improve connecting corner flow. Think of the corners as three or four in a row. Would help you stop from overcooking it. You should go race a small track kart league
Sardegna backwards is worse than the death chicane, I do really well here too even though I hate the track but when you do it in the nostalgia part of single players your on this track in old 60’s car that’s a pain that downhill stop is 10 miles long in the old corvette
Are those just Argyle Socks, or are you wearing something specific for the pedals? I'm constantly wearing/tearing holes in my socks when I race, and just curious if there you're wearing something I can't make out? Thanks.

he dives up the inside and pushes you wide no penalty. you sneeze on his bumper and nothing changes 2 second penalty. this game is rage inducing
