A really nice flying video with a couple of beautiful Classics. Even the soothing piano music was appropriate and enhanced the experience. Thank you. "Mike" Kelly "Old School Aviator" and CFI.
I'm late to this rodeo, but must say you make absolutely stunning videos. They perfectly complement your absolutely stunning Ercoupe. The videos with your son along are particularly enchanting. Thank you so much for sharing these times of your life.
Gradually catching up with your videos. Don't usually like background music but loved that piano...very relaxing. Perfect! If I'd been there I would of made a crowd of one around your Ercoupe! :) I love those house/hangars at a lot of the airfields you go to. Sadly no 'Air Parks' or 'Sky Ranches' here in the UK. The anti-aviation town councils will not allow them...in case someone is upset by the noisy, smelly aircraft! I need to move to California!
Yeah, as much as I still love England, it'd be tough to put up with the restrictions you have over there, in the aviation world. :( Thanks for watching all these older ones, keeps me in touch with them too!
Really enjoy your videos. Laughed out loud when I heard your comment about lead, grapes, and vintage! Great humor. By the way, your Turn Coordinator looked like it was acting up. Was it?
Hello! Yes, it was. In fact, it's currently non-operational. Trying to decide if I fix it, or get something else in it's place. My electronic artificial horizon also provides a turn coordinator.
Hi James, I'm shopping for a plane and considering an Ercoupe. Any deal killers I should be looking out for when looking at one? You can DM me if you like.
Hi Steven, I think my Ercoupe had a new, blank panel fitted when it was restored in '99. New instruments were added in a modern 6 pack layout. So yes, quite different to the original.

I'm not trying to be a prick, but why do you always adjust the canopy *after* you are rolling down the runway? With so much that can go wrong on takeoffs and landings, isn't it safer to have everything done before so you can focus? You seem distracted on every takeoff and every landing in your videos. If you lost power on takeoff as you are looking down at the floor you could lose valuable seconds trying to get your bearings.

Ah... Central California at it's best.
Beautifully filmed James. Thanks for the ride along.
Thanks Matt!
Thanks James, for an Especially Enjoyable experience.
Nice air to air shots.
Wonderful video James and Andrew - the music adds a dream-like quality! First class job.
Those Ercoupe wings sure look metallic.. If they're fabric, who ever does them, does incredible work!!
Hi Carl. Thanks. They were metalized in the 1970's.
Sublime, wonderful. Makes me to finally want to get my PPL (started out in the 80s).
Best thing I did was get it finished off. Do it! :)
Loved the flying and the music awesome video.....

Ok James, I’ve been watching your vid’s but this was VERY cool! Great destinations and the Stearman to boot. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome 😎
Nice video James! It's cool that you two were getting different shots of you landing too!
Thanks, Keith!
What a beautiful airplane. Just got here from Juan Browns channel :-)
Splendid !!!!!!!

@@JamesGood Looking forward to your next video flight (post Oshkosh) to see what you decided.

YOu make really cool and "Good" videos Mr Good
Thank you, Mr Wood!
“Where’s the Ercoupe crowd.?”...lol.
Maybe they all went to see the Mighty Luscombe?!
Grew up in an 1946 Ercoupe 415C N2078H. Your dash panel looks more like an Alon Ercoupe.

Hehe, N3134H for me, a 1946 Ercoupe. Such fond memories!
