@sgalley22 Yes, I should have talked about the artwork a bit more because it really is excellent! As a foundation deck, there will be more games available to play in the future using these same cards (not unlike a standard deck of cards) and I imagine there will be a vibrant community of fans making more games for this deck too. Check back next week, I'll demo another Mysticana solo game called Cave of Djinns (with a small expansion deck).
I love nine perils! It is my favorite Mysticana games so far. If you want more, there is an upcoming expansion that improves on the nine perils formula and makes for a more interesting experience. It also makes it into a nine perils campaign mode.

I haven't even started digging into fan-made solo games for the Mysticana deck yet, but I bet there are some really good ones. Any recommendations?
@@table_for_one I also like Cave of Djinns, but I enjoyed Nine Perils a lot more in my opinion. As for fan expansions, I am biased and recommend my own game Labyrinth which is a solo in hand card game inspired by Loot The Loop from designer Will Su from the Isaludo collection. You can find the rules on BGG Mysticana forum. The rules are pretty much done as the game play rules are final. Just need to clean up the rules explanation and I can put up the final rules doc.

Intriguing… I might I like the beautiful artwork more than I would like the gameplay, but I think I would need to try it first!
