    More beautiful and believable than any outer space exploration or even a moon landing. We are in an enclosed system, and so beautiful with so much which has not being explored or exposed to the common eye. Actually, there is enough material on YT about the moon landing staged here in Arizona... perhaps for the awesome scenery which can be used to fool some, with the right filters, it is outside earth. This is our world the only one! the center of the universe. We must enjoy it while we can.

      Humility is never over stating one's ability. Honesty is never under stating it. Confidence is openly sharing the exact truth one has learned through vast experience. Arrogance is bashing someone else's skill and knowledge simply because you don't have the confidence in yourself to appreciate honest people that truly do know what they are talking about.

    So that's some pretty amazing terrain flying... but what's plan B if your paramotor suddenly quits and you're flying that low within those deep canyons?? I'm not sure I'd want to know the answer!

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is quite a bit of energy in the glider so if you did have a motor out we had enough altitude to still glide to a safe landing. So we are constantly thinking of where we are going to land just in case and leaving enough altitude to make that possible. Realize these are some of the best paramotor pilots in the world.

Call me at 800-707-2525 when you want to get started. It really is the coolest thing you will ever do as long as you get this particular gear and the right training.

    • @DellSchanze

      Then you seriously need to come take SUPER training and get the right gear because ZERO people have ever died in the history of the sport on Flat Top paramotors with super duper safe wings like the Dominator. No less dangers flying the coast then anywhere else. It's still absolutely critical to get the best gear & training. Call me directly at 800-707-2525 and we can fix the fear of the unknown.

  • @DrSebby
    @DrSebby 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    How much of an issue are flukey wind gusts and up/down surges if any? Is it something you don't have to worry about much? Great video! thanks.

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are something to think about but really not much of an issue when you get proper gear and training. If you don't have proper gear and SUPER training though then yes they can be a very serious issue as another guy just died a day ago on crappy gear. So the gear you get is absolutely life & death critical. While 19 DIED in a single year on terrible gear ZERO have ever died in the history of the sport on Flat Top paramotors with Dominator paragliders. So getting that exact gear and then training with the WPPGA Paramotor World Champion is a complete different sport from getting scammed by those who are totally incompetent and dishonest. You really have to look at the skill level of whom you are talking to in this sport. If you search youtube for "world's best paramotor pilot" you will notice pretty much every single video is of me or people I've trained. In this sport because there is no license what so ever anyone claiming to be certified you know straight away is lying. So it's very important to look closely at the skill level of anyone before you take advice from them. It's a pretty ridiculously safe sport IF you get the proper gear since zero have ever died on Flat Top paramotors. Just make for sure you get that specific gear and don't deal with anyone who doesn't fly a Flat Top as you know without a doubt they are not competent and don't have even the most basic understanding of the sport. You can always call me directly if you have questions at 800-707-2525.

    • @thehark6247
      @thehark6247 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      wind conditions are always the first consideration, especially in canyon and around surface variations, but when it's right, it is sooooooooooooo right, as you can see, great video, and having flown canyons myself I can say, YEEEEEEHAAAAAAW!!!!!!!

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes one would consider the wind but also consider the skill level and the fact we are flying the absolute safest, most stable and highest performance wing on the market. So we can fly through just about anything. It's truly incredible what you can do and feel comfortable doing when you have the very best gear and skills.

  • @chicut84

    Beautiful ,..but dangerous.... take more quote...if the engine stop,..you can't exape and finisch inside canyon!!!..very harder to catch you for the rescuers! think ....but video is Amazing!

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      False. These are skilled pilots and at no point would a motor out been a real danger as there is enough energy in the wing to fly to a safe landing on the side somewhere. If you don't understand the sport you really can't judge the safety. I've never even been injured in way way way over 11,000 flights. So claiming it's "dangerous" to fly safely within one's skill level makes no sense.

    Dell, who makes the Dominator? Did you purchase the K2 rights and make changes becoming the new Dominator? I'm not trolling at all. Sweet video!

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      stingercj7 Yes U-Turn USA is the exclusive and only distributor for the K2 which is now the Dominator. The only changes are in the new high tech cloth, lines, custom risers and even custom brake toggles so it's the same wing as the K2 and still carried the exact same certifications as it is unchanged as far as how it flies. It's the most incredible wing I've ever tested to date so I was quite happy to be able to tie up the distribution of it. The second I find something better though I'll be switching. In fact I'll be happy to pay a finders fee to anyone that can get me a wing that is better. While companies keep changing around characteristics to keep promoting "new" wings there really haven't been any true and real advancements since the K2. It's the most perfect all around wing made to date and really the biggest advancement in the history of the sport. In the past we have always had to make a choice between performance or safety. Now with the Dominator we have them BOTH in one and the same wing. Absolutely incredible!! 800-707-2525

    I don't really care about all the crap I've heard people saying about you. All I care about is that you make some of the best paramotoring videos on TH-cam. Your channel is pretty ace. Keep up the good work.

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Kyle Weir Well the real concern there is that there are some seriously evil people out there telling every lie they can make up in order to deceive people into getting the least safe gear on the market and training with people who are totally incompetent. Many of the lies spread around out there are put out by paratoys who pushes the absolutely terrible blackhawk units which 2 more people just died on in one months time. So there is more to it then just the crap talking. These people are seriously evil and literally flat out lying to people in ways that are getting them killed when in FACT zero people have ever died in the history of the sport on Flat Top paramotors. So the videos are very important to help people see the real truth as to what proper gear and training does for you vs the load of crap others will tell in order to deceive people away from what's truly best for them. 19 DEAD just last year because of the liars out there. 19!!! ZERO in the history of the sport have ever died with the right gear and training. So it's important to stand up to the liars who are talking all that crap because they are truly getting many many many people seriously injured & killed.

    • @kyleweir1590
      @kyleweir1590 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Dell Schanze Yeah, it's pretty shit that people are spreading rumours. Do you have a website for the Flat Top unit? The only websites I can find are Blackhawk USA and Parajet, who are based in the UK like me.

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Kyle Weir Our website U-Turn USA is linked right at the front of the description of all our 630+ videos. Do you see that there in the UK? We get lots of people coming from the UK for SUPER training. SUPER Adam came from the UK and set a world record on his 8th day of training by doing 2 circles in a row while in a foot drag. It's incredibly difficult. So much so that no "instructor" in the UK can even do it. So literally in only 8 days by coming to the USA for SUPER training he had already surpassed the skill level of those in the UK who are acting as instructors. It's truly incredible what you can do with SUPER training.

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The website www.u-turnusa.com is listed right in the description of all these videos. The Flat Top is the only unit to get. Zero people have ever died in the history of the sport on Flat Top paramotors. 19 dead in a single year on units like parajet and blackhawk because they haven't fixed ANY of the major problems getting people seriously injured & killed since the sport first began. Give us a call at 800-707-2525 or 801-631-1731. We have many that come from the UK for SUPER training that then bring the gear back home with them. One guy from the UK actually set a world record on his 8th day of SUPER training. You simply can't get good training anywhere else in the world.

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it's extremely safe as long as you have SUPER skills along with a Flat Top & Dominator. It would be extremely unsafe if you didn't have SUPER training along with a Flat Top & Dominator but then without the best gear and training it would be extremely unsafe to even try to get off the ground.

    • @DellSchanze

      @@RAYTHEONGAMING There was zero sales pitch there. Consider the skill level of the one sharing what was said. If I say from all of my experience these are the critical factors and you can see the skill level of every single person in this video all of whom I personally trained realize I would not say it if it were not absolutely critical. We can sell hundreds of different gliders and any paramotor brand on the market so if I say this exactly gear is critical there is a reason for it and it's not sales pitch even in the slightest. 5 more dead in the last weeks because they didn't have this exact training and gear. So just consider for a second that what I shared had zero sales pitch to it and recompute.

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Dominator holds quite a bit of energy so stuffing the brakes you can climb upwards of 40-60 ft or you can just carry an altitude for quite a bit before you land. So we stay just far enough above the canyon that if the motor died we should have no problem landing on the side of the canyon and not in the Canyon. Yes for sure we always have a plan of where to land just in case.

    So I'm assuming brake means to pull both handles down? I'm interested in paramotoring and I understand the physics of parachuting (never parachuted personally) but also being an A&P helps with the physics (lift, drag, thrust, weight). Just curious as to the basic control of a paramotor.

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes saying "brakes" means to pull both brakes. There is a ton more to it than that though as one builds a feel of exactly how much to pull and how much not to pull during SUPER training. All these pilots have incredible skills but it's still nice to have someone watching give you input on what they see from their perspective as that can also help the pilot. When you want to get flying a paramotor it's critical to get the very best training in the world so that you really can fly in places like this. Plus you would never want to fly in an area like that without the very best gear either as the safety and stability is very imporant. Dell I live in phoenix arizona and I am really looking into getting into this as a hobbie, is it expensive? are the regulations demanding? • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Angel Shred Actually it's one of the least restrictive. There is no license or anything required. Even my kids can fly no problem at all. My son has been flying paramotors since he was 10 years old. Yes it is motorcycle friendly. Because the Flat Top paramotor will pack down to only the size of a large suitcase you could put it in a trailer that you could pull. Of course once you get flying you will probably never ride motorcycles again. You severely under estimate just how incredible this is. I used to put 10,000 miles a month on my bulletbikes. Forget the bikes though as everything will be about flying once you get doing it the right way. The huge critical thing in this sport though is that you get the right gear and training so it is life & death critical to contact me directly so I can help you. There are seriously evil people out there pretending to be instructors and making up fake bogus certifications. There are also people pushing gear so horrible that 19 people died just last year on crap gear. ZERO people have ever died in the history of the sport on Flat Top paramotors. Justin Higgins I set the record at 280 miles in 7 hours and 13 minutes in one flight using less than 4 gallons. With dual tanks you have 5 gallons. So you can go a very long way. Plus you can climb over 18,000 ft no problem and it has a top speed of 51mph. So it is an incredibly capable aircraft. The key to this sport though is to get REAL gear and REAL training. There are sooooo many scammers out there that don't know crap for crap about how to fly who pretend to be instructors and they push the worst horrible gear that has caused 19 deaths just last year alone. So the sport is awesome but only IF you get a Flat Top Ninja paramotor, Dominator paraglider and SUPER training directly with us. I list them all specifically because they are so life & death critically important. Coolest thing you will ever do though IF you do it this way. Just call me directly at 800-707-2525 and I'll make sure you do it the right way. Wat does flying it feel like

      Most incredible thing you will ever do in your lifetime as long as you get proper gear & training. The only paramotor to fly is the Flat Top you see in all these videos and for training only get SUPER training from the WPPGA Paramotor World Champion. Then it will be just like you see in these videos. Otherwise it can be a total nightmare as there are seriously dishonest people out there pretending to be instructors so it's very critical to LOOK at the skill level of whom you take advice from. Just call 800-707-2525 and talk straight to the best in the world.

      That's why we are high enough where the energy in the glider is enough to make a safe landing on the side there. Keep in mind the skill level of these pilots as these are all SUPERS. Plus the Flat Top is the most reliable paramotor on the market.

    not a good spot for a motor out in one of those canyons, fun to see though.

      A Levy Yeah, my thoughts exactly ... a motor out in some of those spots would not end well.

      Mark Wirthlin Only the super skilled pilots were down low so really not a big issue. There is a ton of energy in the wing and the glide ratio is awesome on the Dominator so even at cliff level you still have enough energy to climb back up and land on the side ok. It's not as bad as it looks. For sure not something for inexperienced pilots though. If you see that as dangerous then correct you and your gear shouldn't be doing it. Skill levels and quality of gear play a huge factor in safety. So with SUPER skills and the Flat Top & Dominator you can just safely do a ton more than you would ever dare otherwise.

    what is Vx and Vy on that thing, and avg. climb rate.

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      martyisabeliever Climb rate is upwards of 1200 fpm or more and it will fly as slow as about 11mph and I set the world speed record with the Dominator at 51mph. It just depends on the size of wing and how much weight you put under it. What sets the Dominator apart from all other wings is that while it's not only the fastest wing on the market it is also the safest. That's just unheard of. In the past we have always had to choose between safety OR performance and have never been able to get both in one wing like we do with the Dominator. So the same XXS I set the speed record with is the same wing my son flies all the time because it's also the safest wing I've ever tested. Very very cool. Just call 800-707-2525 if you would like faster answers. :)

      Dell Schanze turn key; Instruction, wing and prop pack what are we talking $ wise.
      so far seems as though thermal induced wing collapse and frontal collapse seem to be the biggies, how often do you do stall spin practice> and how is it in a slow turn? It's kind hard for me a fixed wing guy to imagine flying an inflatable flexible soft wing

    • @DellSchanze
      @DellSchanze  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      martyisabeliever The very best gear on the market is about $12,000 for everything and the very best training is another $2500. So $14,500 for everything. Or we have used gear in stock as well if you need to get the price down. The ability for the wing to collapse is why they are so much safer then fixed wings. If you fly a fixed wing into crazy rotor it can flip the wing over putting you into an attitude that is completely unrecoverable. With the paraglider though it take take that same crazy air and absorb the energy in a collapse and then pop right back out and continue flying all while staying above your head controlling your decent rate in a safest possible manner. If a wing can't collapse and it gets hit with a very strong gust it can get flipped over and really mess you up where the paraglider can just collapse to absorb the energy. Also a certified paraglider like the Dominator only sinks about 20 fps even in a full stall. So wad it in a ball and it still controls your descent to something about like jumping off a garage roof. Much much safer then small airplanes. We can fly in conditions you would never even consider flying in with a small airplane. Huge difference. Paragliders are specifically designed to be flown mid day in active thermic conditions in the mountains. So it's really quite incredible what you can do with them and the stability and safety they have doing it.

      Dell Schanze certification, medicals, annuals and AP's... you know FAA Bla Bla...?

    • @DellSchanze

      Dell Schanze Another thing to think about is that when you are flying at 120mph in a small airplane the thermals are just bumps or turbulence. With a paraglider we can fly inside that one single thermal and ride it all the way up to cloud base. By staying inside the one thermal we can stay in nice smooth air where with a small plane it would be so bumpy that it just wouldn't be much fun to fly in the same conditions where it's a total blast with the paraglider. We can fly around in circles in about the same distance a big car can do a u-turn. That small slow circles allows us to use one single thermal and stay inside of it where a larger plane just can't do it. It's a whole new experience and one that will really blow your mind. Once you master a paraglider and you fly an airplane again there is a whole new level of understanding that you gain having flown the paragliders. Paraglider pilots are just a ton more in tune to the details of what's going on in the air compared to pilots of planes.
