It does floor me, that when you think about it, Catherine a person who is considered a commoner is really one of, if not the most powerful person in the Royal Family. It does floor me, that when you think about it, Catherine a person who is considered a commoner is really one of, if not the most powerful person in the Royal Family. She is a future Queen and future Queen Mother. Her influence will be enormous.
I think Harry did Megan a disservice. I think they both, but Harry especially, thought Megan came "pre-adapted" to public scrutiny because she is an actress. He should have listened to William. I don't think that is what William was telling him to do.

Kate and Meghan would have made the power couple of the century, had they worked together. They Tabloids would have been able to write wonderful stuff about both of them all the time. Their kids would have seen and grown up together. Instead they were played out against each other. Meghan run down for the same thing Kate was praised for. Palace insiders bullied her, talked about her all the time. Some was to take the heat of Andrew and the other was to take the spotlight off Harry and Meghan. Those two had to much charisma and were getting to popular. Some felt overshadowed. So sad how it all got messed up.

By definition, Diana would not have loved both Kate AND Meghan. No matter what we think or feel about either of them, they are completely different people. Diana would have likely clicked with one of them. But which one? 🤔
I'm just guessing, but probably the woman who is a great wife to one of her sons and for a long time was seen like a sister by the other one. The woman who would not compete with her for media attention and who does not prevent her children from having a relationship with their grandparents.
Diana was jealous and possessive. Honestly I think she would have seen both as competition for her sons' affection. But if I had to pick one I would say she would like Meghan more because she is more of a free spirit than Kate.
