Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages. I’m going to type one thank you…for obvious reasons…but I have read all your comments and emails and I appreciate you all so very much. Week one is done, and it was rough, but very manageable and I’m learning how to deal with everything. It is truly amazing how quickly the brain can allow your body to go from dominate side to the non-dominate side. Tasks I struggled to teach my left side before surgery are already easier. Be well everyone. And 🌟💎 Shine On! 💎🌟
I will miss your amazing videos! Please take care of yourself. I had rotator cuff surgery in 2011. It is very challenging….definitely keep up with your PT afterwards. Hopefully see you soon, please, update if you can. Prayers for a successful surgery, complete healing and a comfortable recovery.
I am so bad about checking my emails! I just watched this video and was so sorry to hear about you Rotator Cuff surgery. I want to encourage you to take your time to heal; it will be worth it! I will be praying for healing! I had a Reverse Shoulder Replacement almost 4 years ago and I am so grateful everyday for no more pain, great mobility and a better quality of life. Arthritis inflammation made everything worse. A month before my surgery I started taking hemp oil to reduce the inflammation. It was a game changer for me a really helped my recovery. I continue to take it with approval from my doctors. I look forward to seeing you again when you're ready.
Hi, Joli: Great video. I am so sorry you've had to go through this. I know YOU know that I know what you're going through (did that make sense, LOL?) Anyway, sending you big hugs and love. I know you'll get through this and come back stronger!
Best of luck. I had rotator cuff surgery in 2012, never regretted it. Recovery was a little rough but I followed Drs orders, went to PT and had a great outcome hoping you will too. ❤
Take all the time you need Joli and be extra gentle to yourself for me, please. I needed to learn that lesson a long time ago. And, one last tip...listen to your body. It will tell you what you need. We will miss you, however, with all you have taught us thus far, we will survive. NOW is your time. Get well Lady. Kindly, Diane
Firstly, I hope the surgery went well and you are on your way to a speedy recovery. I myself have had quite a few issues over the last few years, especially. I have scoliosis, so daily life in general involves a certain amount of pain, which I've learned to manage over the years. I've also stayed very active despite my scoliosis and my age, having been a ballerina in my youth and a true "gym rat" after my children were born. Currently, I require HA injections into my left knee 1-2 x year for arthritis, I have bursitis in the shoulders and was recently Dx with a labrum and gluteal tear in the right hip. Those will require surgery, which will take place in June. I've been dealing with pain for about a year. It finally became an impediment, preventing me from enjoying pretty much all activities. So, I genuinely feel for you, but I'm glad you addressed this issue sooner than later and have taken steps to resolve it. I think for some of us, these issues start occurring as we get older. In my case it's probably from "wear and tear" I put on my body from all the activities throughout my life. I tryly wish you the best of luck! 😊
