It’s coincidental that you mentioned about taking sewing classes to tailor clothing, I was just mentioning that to my husband that I would love to be able to do that with my clothes and would love to take a class. I know how to sew and mend but tailoring is on another level. I always enjoy your videos!

@@tammiesuppo9633 my great grandmother was a professional seamstress and raised her five children off her shop. My maternal grandmother was a sewing hobbiest and made quilts for county fairs, and for friends and family. How I never truly learned to really sew, is beyond me. I learned in home ec all the basics and can run my sewing machine…but yep, next level. Good luck finding a class. 🌟💎 Shine On! 💎🌟

That is partly why I make my clothes. At 53 I want a bit more structure to my clothes, and a seamless beige cotton jersey bra with an elastic chest band aint doing it! I found some unworn old stock on ebay, but I had to buy some new ones.
Another problem is untreated fabric that has no finish to it can lose its crispness and stain quite quickly. Which goes against it being a long-wearing item.
