The satin finish is water based and tough as nails! I have an Academy 12. Their cleaner is a wonderful product, but to keep that gunk off I recommend using it more often. It will not ruin your finish. Another great and universal product is naptha (lighter fluid). I even use it to keep my uncoated strings fresher. Naptha is safe for gloss and satin polyurethane (which our Taylors are) and nitrocellulose. Don’t use it on shellac or varnish though. Beautiful Taylor! ❤
i accidentally ruined my guitar by applying an abrasive polishing compound (silicone) on my satin finish, and now theres just a glossy spot like at 8:27. Do you think this product will restore it or at least make it a little less glossy?
I just bought the plus model. Thanks for showing me.
Lucky you!! Enjoy the guitar. You are most welcome 🎉
Hello! Where can I buy this?

I wish I could help, but I don't know... sorry :(
@@guitarstreet no worries. just wondering if this cleaner managed to restore that glossy part at 8:27 or not
Does the satin finish cleaner also work for the fretboard?
It's not meant for the fretboard. I recommend the Music Nomad Fretboard F-ONE Oil for that.
Thank you for this information. What do you use to clean the fretboard?
Most welcome! I swear by the Music Nomad FRINE fret polish and F-one oil. Works wonders!!
