I'm not one pocket player as of yet, but I honestly feel this is an Awesome drill to practice. Helps with cue ball placement as well as making things it seems easier to learn to get shape on. Thank You, I appreciate your sharing of knowledge and skill....
Thank you for the video. Being a golf coach and instructor I don't get to play much pool but do enjoy one pocket. I'll try this out the next time I get to the tables.
hi great video . i always shot my spot shots from the side rail a ball off the rail and made it a half ball hit . now i cant make a single one lol . but my real question is pertaining to bank shots in one pocket how does english get effected off the 2 or third rail . to shorten or lengthen the angle any advice would be so helpfull thank you .
Oooh, that's a complicated subject. I'll put it on my list for a future video. Short answer is that - most of the time - any English you apply is gone by the time the object ball hits the second rail. And the speed of the hit matters a lot. Hmm, I wonder if Dave Alciatore has explored the science of this. Might search his channel.
Hi i notced you explianed your half ball hit from jsut right of the diamond but then you where making the excersise from the center of the diamonds thoose were not half ball hits where they . or is there a reason you moved off the center ball hit area ,
The 1/2 ball "trick" is more for beginners. In the video I mention for the drill - no aiming tricks. You WANT to shoot from where you have to focus on your aim as well as stroke and position. Also, it's harder to draw the cue ball to the side rail from 1 diamond out.
if it's a scratch and behind the line, why not practice from the very first position where it's the half ball hit? i mean isn't that the easier shot to make?
I saw a video on a school in Russia with a dozen or so table. All tables had coaches setting up shots for the kids and they claimed on girl made 400 spots in a row. May have been BS, but then I have been told after while there would be groove worn in the cloth. Who knows could be more of that Russian propaganda?
Can't wait to start tomorrow morning! pool is fun, practice and play , enjoy your game
what i appreciate most about this video is the fact i get to set when you actually miss... tha ks bob

I accept your challenge. I will make all 12 in a row and make a video of it in hopefully less than three months. Cheers.

That's a good starting point. But in order to improve you need to practice what is NOT easy or familiar.
Thank you ❤️😊
Awesome!
Tried this drill today. Took me 11 shots. I guess you'd have to give me 11-6 and the breaks. 🙄
Thanks for the vid
drawing with the measle cue ball is a lot harder
Your a badass WOW
