Cyrribrae, you're not going to get a good crust on steak with this and it wouldn't save much time unless you like well done-in which case you're irrelevant and should go away.

Former/retired chef here, and I'm absolutely stunned by a couple of these experiments and how well they turned out. Some were (obviously) no surprise. The pizza, the mushrooms, definitely the scallops (I was cringing the whole time you were cooking those) all seemed to go exactly as I expected...but the sea bass totally blew me away. I've cooked hundreds, possibly thousands of those over the years, and I simply cannot believe you got the results you got in just 6 or 7 minutes...I mean...I can see them with my own eyes, but my inner chef is in total denial. :)
I'm definitely going to have to give this little oven a go at home. Being able to knock together stuffed mushrooms (my better half's favorite thing to snack on) in under ten minutes from fridge to plate is astonishing. Those peaches looked divine, and I wouldn't have to play the 'watch the broiler carefully or you'll catch the oven on fire' game. Roasted fresh veg in just a few minutes (fresh, 'chip cut' carrot, parsnip, or other root veggies would be heavenly...probably only take about 3-4 minutes as well), and...dammit...I still cant get over that sea bass. :)
Big thanks to all of you guys for this review/video. When you've worked 'in the trenches' for as long as I had, sometimes you get pretty jaded and it's hard to find inspiration to try new things. This video/this product definitely rekindled my desire to try something new. :)

Check out a pizzasteel. 3 min pizza in your home oven on max and the grill on. On the second highest rack. Only downside u need to preheat for 1 hour and then u can make 5 pizzas b4 reheat for 10 mins. I own 1 and it blew my mind.

+Ark Lyte Its an oven, a flat, oven with a dial scale and dodgy temp control, there's no finesse with these things, but if you gotta cook something flat, not to high, and something very hot, and quickly, then they are AWESOME! I love mine (not the same as the Ferrari, but...) a 10-15 minute warm up time then cooking = no hot kitchen, and? Kids loooove them for pizza parties, little kids, big kids, kids at heart... I've even done toasted sandwiches in mine.

As someone whose family is actually from Padrón, first of all I love that you seem to use Padron peppers a lot and like it, it makes me feel proud in a weird but cool way (it's a little town with less than 9000 people living there, so it's not like we are well known overseas). Just a little tip, tho: even when in almost all Spain everybody tend to make them with his tail to grab them better and make them easier to eat, the truth is that they're way better without that and we usually take them off with the tip of a knife. That little tail it's still part of the plant, so it gives a little bit of a nasty flavor (not much, but still) when cooked at the same time, and it keeps the pepper to be well cooked inside, leaving some seeds. Best way to make them, at least traditionally, is to take off the tail, put them in hot oil and reduce the heat when throwed inside the pan to prevent then to burn fast. Anyway, keep the good work, guys :)

In Italy that little oven is very popular and many people even make some mods to it to make it even more powerful (you can find many on youtube). Btw, do you think it could be used to make tandoori chicken? Seeing that the real cooking method for that dish requires very high temps that you only get from a tandoor oven?

Maybe UK does not need modding because they are not under EU law ? They mentioned theirs goes over 400°C as it comes and EU law prohibits going over 350°C or something for this category of device which is not much better than a normal oven.
I modded a Bestron Alfredo with a PC Fan. I think it is more sturdy than the Ferrari G3.
They still build these pizzamakers the same way before they were outlawed just the sensor stops the heat at a different temperature.

Ready to love your toaster oven?
There's a lot of words, but it'll be worth it.
      2 - 2 1/2 cup flour
      1/2 tsp sugar
      1 tsp salt
(oregano and parm to taste, about 1/2 T works)
      ~3/4 cup warm water
      1/2 T bread yeast
      1/2 - 1 T olive oil for coating
Put the yeast in the water for a couple minutes before mixing it into the dry. Shouldn't have to knead too much, put the oil in a bowl at least twice the size of your dough ball and spin/toss the ball around in the bowl to coat it, put plastic wrap over top and let rise for at least a half hour, 2 hours is a good time.
Should fit in a toaster oven, just need some pizza sauce and toppings. As high she'll go and check on it after 15 minutes.

Since homes usually only have a single over, it would also be great for nibbles when the oven is cooking a larger dish needing a longer and lower cook. Seeing all the other things you cooked in the pizza oven, now I really want one and see a lot more value in it.

Then there you are slapping everything you can think of onto the stone!

Speed, ease of use, ease to clean, portable. I think this might actually be a worth while purchase for most people. I'd assume it can cook anything an oven can and probably more because of how easy it is to use, could almost turn it into a toaster oven/microwave because of how quick it cooks.

That's kinda like going into a pizzeria and complaining they have an oven designed specifically to cook pizzas haha.
Its weird to just generally be opposed to "unitaskers" on principal.
Toasters are a unitasker and one of the most popular kitchen appliances.
This, like a toaster, isnt an obscure unitasker either. Pizza is the most popular food in the US so I imagine myself and many other Americans would gladly have something that only makes pizza.
(This does much more but even if it only cooked pizza that would be ok)

I have a baking steel for my home oven after its warmed up it takes about 5-6 min(not 10-15min) to cook a homemade pizza and breads like sourdough, the crust is crispy and gets a little bit of Lepparding. That being said the sourdough cooks at a lower temp so of course takes longer to bake.

I'll tellya guys, this thing has potential indeed. The speed/searing is far superior to oven cooking. Whether I'd go through the hassle of dragging it out of (limited) storage in my kitchen, cleaning it afterwards, etc. etc. which is ALWAYS the issue with stand-alone appliances like this, well...I dunno. But it sure looks better than I anticipated. I wonder about BAKING things in it--tarts, scones, whatever, for a crispy outside with moist inside due to the speed/heat? That'd be my next test if I were you. Breads, muffins, roles, etc. etc.

Hi guys. This video persuaded me to really stretch my budget and buy despite being barely able to afford it. I have dithered and dithered but what persuaded me was just how many other things I can cook on it (not scallops - anyhow, I'm vegan🤭). Spending my measley spondoolies on such things requires a lot of consideration so your video proved this is the gadget for me.
I only have a small electric Caterlite oven but pre-heating it wastes electricity and we're all trying to help the environment. Plus I am a pensioner, living alone so I often can't justify pre-heating the oven to get it hot enough to cook or brown a dish; it seems so wasteful. So, THANK YOU. One question; what size is your square cast iron skillet, please?
Have fun. Keep helping us to know if a gadget is worth having or is it just another thing to throw to the back of the cupboard/drawer
    Be safe🙏

2:42 - "not possible to get the same results in a home oven in the same time" - that's debatable, and only really true if you're including the pre-heat time and not just the cook time. Using a pizza stone and heating with the broiler (in an oven that won't go hotter than 550F), it's fairly easy to get sub-2 minute cooking times with pizza. - and even easier if using a metal baking surface (cast iron or stainless) instead of stone.

That was very impressive, especially the sea bass (it has a deep voice..!!). That little countertop oven is quite versatile and would be a great gift for someone in a studio apartment or university dormitory. I bet it would crush a proper grilled cheese sammich which is the best food during late-night cram-study sessions (better than pizza and much less expensive). I had a block of cheddar and a couple salamis in my dorm room which was my late-night grub when the criminally high-starch low-flavor cafeteria food gave out. That's what got me into food and making proper dishes.
