On hydraulic clucth system many time we face that clucth is good on cold condition but when our vehicle getting hot Or after run some km clucth pedal goes hard//pedal goes floor and gear shifting hard or some time not possible.
So i share the ultimate reason of why....

I am having same problem, mechanic said to replace master cylinder but the issue wasn't resolved. Now I'll get the slave cylinder replaced. Hopefuly it gets fixed.

Same problem with my car i20 petrol replaced the pressure plate clutch plate n then sleeve cylinder but hard clutch problem got solved
but in hot weather or after running 100 kms plus the clutch is sticking a little to the floor while gear changing for 5-10 min.

I have Verna 2006 1.6 Petrol model, I facing the same issue after 100km clutch padel will loose and having problem in gear shifting too and problem in starting the after 100km,
I have to wait 15mins after that clutch padel will normal car will start normally.
Please suggest what is the solution for this and I am away from my home and stuck.

I have frequent clutch jam/sinking to floor problems since last 10 months. Master cylinder & slave cylinder changed 3 time. It started after 57000 km. Currently driven 59000 km. hyundai service center or local mechanic could not rectify. Now it is scary to drive. Please guide
Kindly change the entire brake oil
@ chetan Pressure plate problem. First change clutch assembly and then change slave cylinder. If u want to check practically. Just remove slave cylinder and then try to move back and forth of clutch fork by hand. If fork is unable to move or hard then its confirmed that clutch assembly need to be replaced. If not check for oil leakage of clutch pipe and check oil level.
I had similar problem with my Hyundia i20 year 2009model made in India and many times I had to stop driving as my clutch pedal drops to the floor and after a few seconds it comes to normal I could drive again. After I tried all the options by changing the master cylinder and the slave cylinder and the clutch full kit I spoke to a different mechanic and told me that the problem was due to the rod that moves the trust bearing as it was sticking and it don't return back as it sticks while it start to return to it normal position.I used the spray penetrating oil and did work better .I started to use my car more often as I use to leave it in my garage for a long time and used my other car.Now it is working better.
You can try another way I would suggest to add a return spring to the arm of the fork rod as a return spring as a modification.This is my idea to try for next time if i still have again the same problem.

Got both cylinder replaced for 4500. Used after market parts. Original parts were not available due to Covid . Make sure the length of pin in slave cylinder is exact. Mine was 5mm smaller and will be getting it replaced with original Hyundai part soon
Aftermarket in any part for emergency use only. Aftermarket causes big problems
Yes replaced the after market master cylinder again as it was causing problem randomly while changing gear

80% of this problem is happen due to clucth sleep cylinder , some cases master cylinder too.
I want suggest you that replace clucth sleep cylinder then your problem will solve.
@@thenextgenerationengineers2834 sir, the slave cylinder was changed at 35000 km with new clutch sets fully. And till now, around 10000 km has been running ie 45000 km now. Is the master cylinder bad or still slave cylinder?? No oil leakage, physical damaged anywhere. All ok.

@@tnamen1307 pedal pressed to floor it means oil leakage somewhere or non recommend brake oil or non genuin e spares installed. Or minor oil leakage in clutch pipe or air in the system.
Same issue I got twice for my elite i20, first time replaced both sleep cylinder & master cylinder in Hyundai service..after 1 year I got the same issue again, now third-party service center guy suggested to change sleep cylinder
If you are driving and car stopped in midway...just take a bottle of water and pour it on that cylinder...It will help you.... I faced the same problem and this small hack will help

Hi sir i changed my clutch plate, pressure plate and release bearing of Suzuki swift zdi 2012.i used Original release bearing but i used valeo clutch plate after that my gear shifting get very hard like truck in every gear. Even after changing my master cylinder and slave cylinder my clutch is getting hard after driving for 30minutes. When I start driving it runs smooth. But after 30 mins clutch pedal gets hard and then the entire clutch becomes false and I can’t drive. Please help. I have a Hyundai Getz prime 1.3 gls.

My I20 has the same issue, I changed both maser and slave cylinders but after a few kilometers clutch pedal get spongy, did you refill the brake oil, if yes is your problem resolved?

How to differentiate this problem with pressure plate problem?
If your car have pressure plate problem then cluth system always remain hard.... If clucth cylinder problem then clucth will be hard only hot conditions or after run some km.
Bro my car is 2019 model i20 sportz plus petrol
3024 meter reading.
After 2 or more more weeks of time, took for a drive about 350kms including (ghats road)
All of a sudden when i had to park car, ignition was off , when tried to move clutch suddenly failed to engage and became fully loose with some sort of sound.
Rested vehicle sometime and brought down about 85kms nearest service centre
After 1 day of fully rest, car is working fine now
But no pickup in 1st and 2nd gears, clutch is hard
Any idea what is really wrong?
