He did the same thing to Viktor Axelsen in French Open 2019, his physical abilities compensate for his simple game.
Christie has more skill than Antonsen, just not as much power and physical size.
Well done, Jonatan, not letting you disguise by Anders' irregular delaying of the match. I've watched this in live stream, and I have to say it would have been a disgrace if Anders had won the match. The way he tried to stretch the rules just to delay the game was not fun to watch. Calling the doctor for alleged issues on his right wrist, then receiving some cool spray on his left underarm, was just the tip of the iceberg. I would have loved to see a red card issued against him for this kind of behaviour.
Especially compared to Jonatan who showed appreciation by giving thumb up, not only once but twice, to Antonsen, what Anders did was disappointing.
It should have been the second yellow card if the umpire know the rules of celebration. In the first game Anders always showed fist bump and screaming while facing towards opponent's court.
Well done for Jonatan for keeping his composure. In the second MD match Fajar did the 'mind games' to his opponents, I think he did it for whats been done to Jonatan.

Actually medical time out is allowed. And if you watched his video in his channel, he said that he was feeling cramps between his fingers, that's why he asked medical time out.
I see nothing wrong on what he had done. Playing at home soil with all the pressure and stuff, and it was such a close match, he tried his best. Small delays and stuff is normal, part of the strategy, every player has done it at least once in their career, and he got yellow card anyway, so they was no any injustice or whatsoever.
At least he played till the match finished despite the exhaustion unlike Shi Yu Ki who retired at 20 5 down in the 2nd game...

Sudah lama gak melihat pertandingan tunggal putra memakan waktu hampir 90 menit. Dulu , dengan sistem skor 15 pindah bola, durasi seperti ini sudah biasa. Jumlah skor bisa sampai 30.
Hebat Jojo bisa menang di sini, tapi riskan bagi stamina. Fisik dan mental harus prima jika mau main rally sepanjang ini.

looking back, in first set when the point was 21-20 and all the danes supporter stand up and cheering for antonsen with clap i feel like this is it the end for jonathan, i feel like they would "burn jonathan alive" after he get beaten up by antonsen i know this is exaggerating but its just feel like that T T
