"(Si Si) Je Suis un Rock Star" was a solo hit for Bill Wyman in 1981. It was placed on his eponymous album of the same year, through A&M Records.The song's highest chart position in the UK was at #14 spending a total of nine weeks in the Top 40.
This song shows perfectly well who was the real genius behind The Rolling Stones. Who needs a Mick or a Keith if you can pull off a treasure like this on your own?

Bill Wyman nailed his sound with this tune, and one more time showing his skills apart from the bass. Very different from what Jagger and Richards did at that time.

Ole Bill has the best solo works out of all of the Rolling Stones solo projects in my opinion. Non commercial songs that are a lot of fun with a sense of humor.
