Modern era “Alan Parsons”, thank you. I literally know some of the original albums that you have remixed over the years note by note, yet when I listen to your remix I hear new things that were not present before yet you remain true to the original (prime example is Ultravox’s Vienna)!

His major complaint had to do w/ mixing, right? Steve Albini said the same thing about how it completely cut the bass, back then. I think the mixing has gotten better. I could be wrong, though

That criticism is still valid to this day. However, with the evolution of technology, digital and streamed music now have other ways of presenting a unique experience.
The overall speed increase of the internet now allows for high quality audio to be streamed, which can even be better than CD quality, on some platforms (not Spotify)
@@shabbychurl789 also, they wanted poeple to listen to the album as a whole, not shuffle through and skip stuff. they also mix their stuff quieter than awerage and in 5.1. so they're nto against modern stuff but pointing out what listeners lose with modern stuff. and once 1-2 generations grow up not never listening to quality music, then we'll lose a lot culturally.
Steven, I'd rather see you experimenting with sound and sharing your knowledge and joy then telling everyone how amazing you are. In a month you might end up with a quiz about which award you got for which album if you continue like this. You're already a goat to your fans. No need for this.
It may surprise people to read a big fan of SW an PT (me) hss gotten really into Kpop, especially girl groups, Beautiful young women with some cool videos!, music, and choreography. I'd love to see SW bring his creativity and expertise to this genre.
