From reading the comments I'm finding out there were more than a few of us, but I was a Heavy Metal guy that had the secret love for Karen Carpenter. Her voice could never be truly duplicated, but when I first heard you sing I have to say I got a little misty.
Tori, you are fabulous!! There are several decent Karen Carpenter tribute singers out there like Toni Lee, Michelle Brett, and Ksenia from Leonid and Friends who just did a phenomenal version of Superstar. But you have the closest voice to Karen of anyone I've ever heard. Your register, pitch, and even that slight scratch are emulated perfectly. You even sound like her when you talk! BTW you did Olivia N-J and Patsy Cline great too. Perhaps you have a whole repertoire of voices you can emulate? A very rare talent indeed!! Time to move beyond the beta tests and evaluations and put out some full versions. Your fans are clamoring for more!! We'll pay for a Patreon subscription or whatever else you offer, you are that good. We love you!!
Perhaps you could do a Tori Holub tribute album of all the singer's voices you can emulate - their greatest hits. Get it professionally produced. That would be really cool. Sorry to rant!!

I remember when The Carpenters started. I totally fell in love with them mostly watching Karen play drums. At this time watching a woman on drums playing serious was not happening. It was later people started to notice her songs not her voice the songs were being played at weddings, invited to colleges, people had something happen, or something to just listen when doing whatever. It was when the experts like DJs, variety shows host who were singers, and such started talking about Karen's voice that got her from behind drums to out in front, that she really did not like doing. You, Miss Holum, do not have Karen's voice but you do sound much like how Richard had the arrangements and Karen sing. Karen's voice is a bit rougher than yours. I can tell a sight difference between your and Karen's voice. Just keep the singing real no need to change anything your pitch is way correct.
