i remember being shown a Video Arts episode back in the 80's starring John Cleese, and i've been searching for it ever since. basically JC's character interacts with several people and dies for some reason, and the police interview each of the people he interacted with (hotel staff, taxi drive, airline check in etc), every person reports on a different person because THEIR attitude was reflected in JC's personality during their interaction. i would so love to get a copy of that video, when i worked in retail regulars would wait to be served by me, and always left happy. i suffer from pretty bad back pain, and only the people that know me really well ever notice or comment, as i try not to let it get in the way of life, i attribute that to the video.
Favourite episode so far...Loved all the interactions: the sassy gal, friendly restaurant owner, and ya pals giving you some cheek and a kiss!! Humanity at its finest.

There's a big lesson in customer service to be learned from the owner here, he did far more than he had to in a way that wasn't too much, nor too little and was just perfect, with a genuinely infectious happy smile and attitude that ought to see him prosper. That level of customer service always makes food taste better. As for his kind gifts at the end - once again that was just perfect. Great review Danny, you got it..........just perfect.

However, given that that's the case with all Danny's reviews the customer service shown in this one stood out for me in that it appeared far more "natural" and less "hammy" than the others I've seen. I'd also add that it's been my experience that customer service can appear just as "hammy" even without the presence of a camera, providing an experience which - in my view - is worse than poor, so in this case, I'd argue that the owner's possible exaggeration of his natural style when faced with a camera is just that - an exaggeration of what his normal level customer service is, rather than a situation demanding he plays the role out of character.
The way this guy was dressed brought back memories from when I used to work as a top class barman/waiter/room service, His outfit was spotless and spot on and his customer service skills are exploding with pride in his work (your best review to date)

What a lovely experience for you. Indeed everyone was very friendly but I agree that the gentleman who served you has a lovely personality. With all the negativity that surrounds us it is very heart warming to experience kindness. It actually happened to me today as I was walking back from town. I saw someone who I hadn't seen for 40 years and they brought back some good memories and gave me positivity. I returned the kindness. So that place is on my list for sure.

What a lovely experience for you. Indeed everyone was very friendly but I agree that the gentleman who served you has a lovely personality. With all the negativity that surrounds us it is very heart warming to experience kindness. It actually happened to me today as I was walking back from town. I saw someone who I hadn't seen for 40 years and they brought back some good memories and gave me positivity. I returned the kindness. So that place is on my list for sure.
