Yes, a measuring tool is absolutely required, even more than a box resizer! I've been cutting down boxes for years with a box cutter and a ruler and only just discovered there is such a thing! LOL!
I like wrapping my items in the Duck Brand packing paper. I got the idea from McThriftzie and have loved using it. Just another idea to add to the mix ❤️

I find that large zipper bags are cheaper than the resealable plastic bags with the adhesive, and then they can reuse them. Like the sticky bags are usually around 10 cents each on Amazon, but gallon store brand bags are like $3 for 40 at big box stores, and that's not on sale either. I'd like to imagine the buyer would reuse it too, hopefully..
I don't know if you'll see this, but I'm new to eBay and I wanted to know why they ask for your social security number and if it's safe to give it them? No other platform does this and It's just weird...like I don't want to put myself in a situation of identity theft but I do want to resell there😭
For now I'm just using my HP Deskjet printer, then cutting the label out and taping it onto the mailer. I will be getting a thermal printer soon, I hope.

I love the large zip block bags, I use them for bigger items as well as shoes.. I always grab a few at my local dollar tree stores🤗
