Quality on Stan Solo figures surpasses greatly what Hasbro is giving us on the Retro Collection. So I could not be happier about the existence and work Stan Solo is putting into releasing these vintage-like new figures. I would not buy them if they were not good, and the fact is, they are really close to OG Kenner-

That’s a fair call, I completely can see your view on the unreleased figures. Sounds like you’re a vintage collector, what’s your take on the reproduction figures like Yak Face, EV, Blue Snag, VCJ etc etc ?

Depends how much of a purist you. I used to be, now I don't really care as all my Star Wars figures are purely for my enjoyment and not an investment cause there's just so many vintage figures and I had 99% of them when they came out. I love getting figures that I've never been able to get before and these guys like Stan Solo and some 3D print guys let you really fill out your vintage cast. But yes, I can appreciate people who've invested in their collection for dollar value and don't like this. I know my opinion isn't popular, but hey, that's why we all get something different out of it. Passion is passion, none of it's wrong but your collecting joys are your own at the end of the day and I don't let anyone else decide that for me.

It's all about personal enjoyment, I totally agree. 😊 but I can see how people are so dead against them

I've got nothing against custom figures. I've got a custom Owen and Beru to go with my sandcrawler, to finish the scene.
    Bit of harnless fun.
HOWEVER, those cards you just showed have telltale signs of someone skating the line of custom and reproduction. The way the bubbles are attached (vintage style) and the maker having access to unmarked (SS) repro card images.
Not much is needed to start reproducing vintage figures and duping buyers.
Not a fan there and its likely already happened.
    Hard pass for repro.

It's a slippery slope for sure and I agree 100% with your view.
The waffle pattern seal freaks me out personally

I had all the SW figures from 70’s & 80’s sold them all for next to nothing being 17yr old dickhead in 1990 , tried to rebuy them & the prices are just absolutely ridiculous what vintage sellers want for them, bought a carded Amanaman , Yak Face & Stormtrooper & they do the job of looking like the real deal in an acrylic box on a shelf all for a fraction of the price of rip off dealers selling vintage… so f*^k em, Stan solo figures are good with me & im a old school collector from the 70’s who grew up with this shit…

That it is mate, I agree with you with those figures that Kenner never released , I’m not overly keen on them but his vintage replicas are bang on the money ps love the videos mate 👊🏻👊🏻
