my first name is Gaudi. My gradpa from a very small town in mexico read about Gaudi in a newspaper way back then. He named my father Gaudi, and Im Gaudi Jr. This year im finally going to take my dad to go see such a MASTERPIECE.. I cant wait to share these experiences with him (:

I've just returned from a visit to Barcelona and had about 90 minutes to gaze in awe at the exterior of the Sagrada Familia. Sadly, long queues and not enough time to view the interior. Thank you for this wonderful high-quality video showing me the glory of what I didn't have time to see. It's so beautiful it almost brings tears to the eyes. Incredible that this is one man's vision. My thought is that God was working through Gaudi to create this masterpiece. If there is a portal directly from Earth to Heaven, surely this is it.
My dream from childhood has always been to travel the world at the age of 25 due to a retina problem I lost most of my eye sight but still I wanna pursue my dreams

Absolutely stunning. I was in Barcelona two years ago and was deterred from entering the building due to the crowds. It's hard to believe but I now think the interior of La Sagrada Familia is even more spectacular than the exterior. The entry fee is an investment that will continue to benefit many generations to come. Congratulations on the excellent photography in 4K. Just fantastic work. Thanks.

I saw the Sagrada Familia about 20+ years ago and it was more beautiful at that time. I just came back from Barcelona today and I was a bit shocked. Simple reason is the 4 long and narrow towers stood free in the air. Nowadays the large tower, the Jesus tower makes the construction more massive, less ‘airy’. So for me it is too massive, the Jesus tower is blocking al light coming from behind the long narrow towers. I do fully agree with you on the interior, it is stunning, colorful and elegant.
Teary eyed.. I can't stop it... To say that the structure is magnificent is an understatement..

As a design person I am amazed at the unusual beauty and scale of this Cathedral. More amazing is that this project was even approved at that time. He must have met with a lot of resistance of his plans. I’ve always loved this church and glad they are still building.
I have been to this cathedral on numerous trips to Barcelona and the evolution has been amazing.
On my last visit I booked my ticket, on line, and had access to one of the towers.
The space has to be experienced to really appreciate the genius of Gaudí’s design.

Gaudí transports one into a fantastic wonderland world. All his architecture designs are like they were coming out from a fairytale. Bringing childhood imagination into the real world.

I studied Gaudi at university many years ago and I have always been captured by his methods and this church is his greatest engineering design and it is on my bucket list to go and see, cheers Alister in Australia.

Thank you for posting this. Never really enjoyed Gaudi's art but the scale of this is impressive.
If you think Notre dame, Ripon and or Washington, Liverpool, Vatican cathedrals and or basilica are beautiful, sagra Familia is by far the most beautiful cathedral on this planet, the extreme detail that was put into it, the view outside onto the church, the view via drones its just jaw dropping, I was once inside this magnificent church,
Gaudí was truly a man that was ahead of his time with the architecture design. It seems so modern but also so primitive in the sense how it transpires the resemblance of nature... It kinda feels like an elven building.
Spain is full of these magnificent and extraordinary places. San Sebastián, Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla… all beautiful Spanish cities with so much to see

Went to Barcelona last year in May. The moment I went in the Sagrada (so glad I purchased a time ticket online a few days before I visited) I was completly in awe of everything around me. I didn't see a lot of the world yet, but this is certainly the most beautiful part of architecture I've seen so far. Amazing.
Sargrada Familia is a UNESCO World Heritage site And was build nativity between 1894 to 1930. The Nativity facade features 3 portals. It is 90 M (295 ft) from the entrance to the apse, the colourful and intricate interiors are spectacular and the interiors are inspired by natural elements mean the church columns are shaped like tree trunks that rise towards the ceiling and sky. The ground plan of the church forms a Latin cross

What can I say..
This structure is the epitome of God. I have never seen anything as majestic and glorious in my entire life.It certainly made me cry when I saw it. Standing proud pointing to the heavens. The engineering is a total masterpiece and its creators design is without question heaven sent.
May I pass on my greatest admiration to everyone involved in its creation.

Ich war vor drei Wochen dort. Haben die Karten schon von zu Hause aus gebucht. Ohne anzustehen konnten wir sofort eintreten. Es ist so unbeschreiblich. Wenn die Sonne durch die bunten Fenster scheint. Man muss es gesehen haben.
So attached to Sagrada Familia. My grandma lived nearby and as kids we saw the basilica changing slowly And my parents got married there, in the small chapel long before the actual church. Beautiful video as always. Happy New Year to everybody!

It was wonderful to be transported back to that amazing place! Lovely photography! Nothing can capture the light that floods that interior. I’m always in awe of the mind of Gaudi…a true genius. It’s also interesting to go down to the crypt to see his resting place. I hope I can go back one day to see it finished. The music was a great accompaniment. Thank you !

One of the wonders of the modern world - sublime. No film can capture the way the light filters down - like light coming through a forest. Everyone should try to go there.
I think this is the only unesco heritage site which got the status before the cathedral is even complete. this shows how much legacy Goudi left

I just came back from Europe the other day, and having visited the Sagrad Familia, I have to say, even though this is an awesome video, it's nothing like being there. The camera cannot capture the beauty of the space and how it makes you feel. It also cannot capture the brilliance of the stained glass and how the light streams into the building through them. You have to go and see this for yourself. It's scheduled to be fully completed in 3 years time. Make sure it's on your bucket list.

Wow , what a beautiful church, the structural, beauty and creativity counts mostly, so amazing. I came there once long time ago but they’re doing construction on the front and had no chance to see inside. Hopefully 🙏 one day I can come and visit again.

Most religions produce amazing structures. Churches and temples in Africa, asia and the middle east are beautiful. Mosques are very beautiful and colorful in some countries. Synagogues were once large wooden buildings that were burned down during ww2 sadly. Indian temples are some of the most beautiful and grandiose buildings I've ever seen

My visit to Barcelona is shrouded in memories of extreme heat 🥵. I got blisters on my feet. I missed this particular sight but was able to enjoy many others.
